Q: This mini pc has already 16gb of memory and ssd installed? Or I need to buy them?

The Beelink Mini PC 12th Pro Intel-N100 is equipped with 16GB DDR4 and 500GB PCle SSD without additional purchase installation.

Q: can you upgrade the ram to 32?

Sorry, the maximum running memory of the Beelink N100 mini pc is 16GB, it cannot be expanded to 32GB.

Q: Will my WD 1TB Passport USB portable hard drive work with the S12 Pro? ie it does not have external power

If it connects like a thumb-drive, then yes. I have an older USB external drive with a 3.5 in disk-drive in it. It works, but requires 2 usb connections, 1 for data and 1 for power and it works fine. Most newer USB drives only require 1 usb connection. Should be no issue involved

Q: Can the n100 cpu be upgraded to an i-series like the i5?

I believe the cpu is soldered, not installed in a socket. Remember, this is based on laptop technology.
