Has anyone installed these tires/rims on a harbor freight utility trailer?

I installed them on a boat trailer, and they should fit a HF trailer IF the spacing is correct on the lug pattern.In the description of the wheels is a sizing chart- it is accurate. Measure twice...order once!

what is the speed rating for these?

the speed rating of the tires are one thing, but the axle, hub, and bearings in which they are being mounted are factor into the equation. They are 5 lug which means the hub has a certain load bearing parameter, which is higher than most 4 lug hubs. I have trailers with both 4 lug and 5 lug and all my 4 lug wheel trailers with 12" tires are only rated for top of 65mph. I do have a 5 lug 12" wheel setup but have not checked the hub and bearings on it yet to do the math on theoretical top speed. I would say unless you know you have the heavy duty hub/bearings 65 is a safe maximum speed. The smaller diameter bearing in the low weight hubs I have had come apart while driving (the harbor freight style trailers) at 75ish mph which lead to catastrophic results on the highway. Max speed is more than just the tire size and tire speed rating my friends, be safe out there towing your stuff!

Do I need to Balance?

I put them on and they were just fine without a balancing. Great value and in two years they haven’t lost air pressure at all.
