Ignore Bad Reviews but DO NOT BUY this for plain cold brew. The negative reviewers clearly were expecting to run water through for your standard cold brew. This is for Ice Drip Cold Brew. You put ice in the top, not water. There is no way to have a leak with ice. It works perfectly, foolproof, but only if you’re using it for what it’s designed to be. ICE DRIP!

Terrible. First, the flavor of cold brew needs time to depthen and cannot be replicated in a short amount of time. This device will produce very weak and pale coffee. If that is not enough of a deterrent for you, the filter piece needs to be filled to the top with grounds for anything approach a decent cup of coffee. That causes the water dripping from above to saturated the grounds and then combine to leak out of the opening for the drip lever. The lever itself is useless because the drip rate really is not changed enough to alter the final product in any way. The only usable part of this item is the pitcher. Total miss.

Once the coffee finally brews, as it takes time due to ice having to melt, it it delicious, smooth, and nice and cold! It's well made, just be mindful it's glass.My husband loves it! We'd purchase it again.

This small, easy to use use coffee maker was wonderful on this awful hot days! HELP i was melting in this heat this summer and the iced coffee maker showed up ata my doorstep just in time! The adjustable water flow flow rate is wonderful and the brew tasted wonderful! Its super easy to clean. The only downside would be it’s not dishwasher compatible.I was grateful to walk out of my house with my iced coffee this morning with no wait in the long lines at the local coffee shop. I smiled as i drove by, holding up my perfect iced brewed cup up! Don’t wait in the long hot lines- get your own iced brewed coffee maker for home!

I have other items from this brand that I really like, so this is a bit disappointing. First of all, I did not realize that part of it is plastic. I don’t care if it is BPA free. I don’t like plastic touching my food period.Secondly, the cup that holds the coffee grounds is too large to seat properly in the carafe, so it’s unstable and hard to get level.Thirdly, the controller for the drip is supposed to be completely closed when the arm is all the way to the left, but it never turns off completely.I am not sure whether I want to hassle with the return process. I might try using a different cone shaped coffee filter with this to see whether it works, but I would not recommend this until they address the design flaws and change it to all glass and stainless steel. There really aren’t any parts that couldn’t be made that way. Even the plastic controller could be stainless steel.I took the time to be explicit because I am hoping that the company will see this review and upgrade the design.I am adding this last paragraph to say that I went ahead and returned this item because it wasn’t as much of a hassle to return it as I had thought it would be.

I bought this thinking it would be a good into for beginners who were interested in learning how to cold brew. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! The water control was a total PIECE OF CRAP it leaked and the slightest movement caused water to run every where. And the filer for holding coffee was not nearly deep enough which when you start adding water it plugs and not only do you have water everywhere but coffee grounds also! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! I had better luck setting up an empty 2 liter soda bottle to do the same thing this was SUPPOSED TO DO!! I did end up using the carafe for juice but NOT WORTH $1 LET ALONE $30!! TOTAL PIECE OF GARBAGE!!

I am really happy with this purchase- This slow drip coffee maker produces some fantastic cold brew with my favorite coffee and does it relatively quickly compared to other cold brew makers. You can also use it to make tea with loose tea. The only down side is it only makes enough for one cup although I may keep experimenting with strength of coffee and be able to make a stronger coffee and use for two cups and just add more milk. Overall I am super happy with this and have been using it a lot! I did add a photo of the size of the pitcher for size and number of cup reference

I bought this as a gift, on first use we put ice water in the top part and set drip rate as instructed. Immediately water leaked out all over the counter- so we switched to just ice cubes. Took over 24 hours to “brew” (for the ice to melt and filter) and made only a small batch so we’d have to put more ice in the top to keep going. Not what I expected from such a great brand. Disappointing.
