Not for wide calf people
I am on a mission to find wide calf reinforced ball work sock. These are reinforced at the heel and toe which add comfort, they're breathable, they retain their shape and haven't shrunk. overall, pretty good quality but they are not wide calf socks so I will keep looking.

Great socks!!
These socks were exactly what I was looking for. I wanted socks for my new work boots that would stay up and not slide down my calves walking around the plant throughout the day. They are really soft and form fitting around my arches.

Pretty good socks
They are a bit snug but I like them. They have been holding up pretty well after about 6 months of wear and multiple washings.

Not for larger feet, but nice material
My foot is a size 12, and I have normal sized calves by any measure, and these are just too small. I wouldn’t bother if your feet are size 10.5 and up. That said, the material is nice, they don’t absorb sweat, keep you dry, but do get a bit warm.

Best Work Boot Sock on Earth
I don’t write many reviews. This is the 3rd batch of these socks I have bought in 7 years. I am one of those guys who wears the same stuff every day. I have a simple closet and simple life. But that also means I am serious as a heart attack about the QUALITY of the products I buy for daily use. These socks set the standard for me. So glad Carhartt still makes them. They wear like iron. I wear Ariat steel toe cowboy boots and these come all the way up my calf. I am 5’9” and 205#. I am farmer strong and have good sized calves. These are just the right “tightness” for me. If you have a Fat Leg then maybe keep looking. But I love love the level of compression these create. Exactly the right amount for 14 hour a day wear. Over time the heels wear out a little but that’s hard as hell to get to that point with these. They also never stink. I don’t have sweaty feet though but I do turn them inside out at night and wear them two days in a row. Sorry if you think that’s gross. But they do NOT smell day 2. If I was going on a thru hike backpacking hike I’d bring two pairs of these. That would be all you need for a couple thousand miles. When I first started wearing these several years ago my ankles would swell if I sat too long at a desk or on an airplane. I swear to God these socks fixed that. I’m a Fan Boy of these and kind find nothing to complain about and I’m sticking with them all the way. Just bought my latest batch Jan 2023 and they are like the old batches. They don’t change much thankfully!

Tough, breathable and comfortable
They provide just the right amount of cushion and arch support without feeling bulky. They don’t slide down or bunch up, and they hold up well in the wash. Great breathability too — no more sweaty feet complaints. Definitely worth the price for durability and comfort combined

Sythetic material easily picks up any kind of debre.
The socks are lower calf socks. They do feel nice I think for walking in, and they do well for not sliding down. What they do not do well is that everything sticks to them and it's a real pain to get fibers and twigs and slivers of wood/fibers out of them. From walking around and some wood fibers got in my boot and I thought for sure it was going to pull the threads out since they were stuck so well in the fabric. If your wearing these for dress socks or in a very clean environment (such as not having kids) then they might be OK. But if you have kids that play outside then these might end up being something to pass on. My guess is that they made these out of synthetic material to make them not fall down the calves, and that they do very well. If you got big calves you might want to pass on them as they fit very snugly.

Great socks that fit right and last a long time
These are great socks. They fit right, stay up, and protect your feet when wearing boots.
