Shipped with Win 7, which is what I wanted ...

Shipped with Win 7, which is what I wanted. The battery life is phenomenal. I do programming, so I can stretch the battery to ridiculous duration. The laptop was a much needed upgrade. This laptop only accepts ddr3L "Low Voltage" memory. I tried to use ddr3 from an older laptop, but the T460 did not allow it.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LENOVO WHY DOESN'T THE KEYBOARD BACKLIGHT STAY ON?Edit: "Thinkpad LEDs control", an open source program, fixes this and runs in the background at startup. It works too.Unlike Lenovo could come up with using a factory full of Chinese roof jumping enthusiasts.Lenovo: you suck. Try being like IBM was when you bought this brand a little harder if you want to keep milking it.
