Works Fairly Well
Easy to use cleaner set. Very convenient.Look at the picture of the bore post-cleaning. It still has some lead fouling. But they always look like this after a trip to the range, even after cleaning with a copper bore brush. The minimal lead (or copper from jacketed bullets) remaining does not affect anything and there is a chance of nicking both ends of the barrel if one is too vigorous.

Huge time saver
Years ago when my dad taught me to break down and clean our guns, the longest part was running the cleaning brush down the barrel followed by a cotton cloth (usually an old Tshirt torn in strips). The bore snake cleans the barrel in 2 swipes, usually 1. A must have if you go to the range or hunt often.

Good bore cleaner.
I like bore brushes for in field cleaning and this one has done well. I haven't tried the oil sample they sent with it so I can't review it.
