Can cable be looped (without contacting a pipe) to install it on adjacent pipe runs & (doubled) up & back down short "T" pipes as a continuous cable?

Gary, there is no problem looping this cable over itself, in mid air, to other adjacent pipes ETC. since it is self regulating heating cable there is never a danger of over heating.

does a plug and terminator come with it ?

No you need to purchase the heat plug separate.

What is the rating (W/ft length)?

About 3 Watts per foot. Ice guard cables are around 7 Watts per foot. Out of one box (100 ft.) of cable I made one 25' cable and two 33 ' cables. This 25' one draws about 1.3 Amps when plug in and drops to about .6 Amps when heated up. Great cable system. Each plug in includes one end cap.

I have a garage floor drain with PVC pipe running under the concrete floor and venting outside. Can this be run thru the pipe to prevent from freezing

Hi Jon,No. This heating cable must stay dry. Take a look at the cable (or systems) designed and intended to defrost or melt ice off of roof eaves and gutters. Then only apply power when water is running through it.
