Perfect for comics and cleaner, less-detailed art & illustration styles!!!!
To be honest, I use quite a few types of 2.0mm leads in my lead holders. I use H, HB, B, and Non-Repro Blue. It all depends on the amount of detail I want in my art and if I want the end result to be pen/brush & ink, digitally colored (comicbook style), or painted with acrylics. If I want to do an illustration with little to no shading & want it relatively clean, I prefer to use Staedtler Non-Repro Blue. The advantages are that it is cleaner and easier to erase, resulting in a cleaner drawing to ink. I decided to stock up on the Staedtler Non-Repro Blue by getting another dozen, enough to last me for quite a while. When I want to add some shading or more detail, I prefer graphite leads. I enjoy having the option of working with both kinds of leads. When it comes to Non-Repro Blue, Staedtler will always be the brand that I trust most.

Classic Leads, no fuss no muss
Nothing fancy, just the classic Staedtler quality one would expect. They hold up well and draw good lines, can't ask for more. If you have issues with the leads not holding a sharp point for long, these are softer - which gives you those nice colors as a trade off. You can apply less pressure to preserve that point, but your lines won't be as bold - it's all up to your technique.

Staedleters are great.
Staedleters are great. My personal choice. Holders too for 2H, HB lead and black, blue, red and yellow markups. Also have that confounded circular sharpener that I learned how to use on YouTube, never without it now.

Good lead, but hard to erase, I am trying different erasers.
Its good lead but as an artist it is a pain to clear off any paper other than normal smooth printer paper.Good if you are a technical diagram drawer or work in the field as an architect but hard to use primarily from an art perspective. I have ordered several different erasers in a hope to be able to clear off 90% so hopefully that works.Staedtler as a company provides high quality products, never had any product I am not satisfied with so far so if you need red lead I would recommend it.

Top quality. Highly recommend purchasing a pencil sharpener with the lead
I use this in construction to do layout on concrete, and like the red color because it stands out. Good quality lead. I purchased a different brand when I ran out of this lead, and the other brand keeps breaking.Staedtler will be the only brand I will buy from now on.
