SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch (46mm) Heart Rate Monitor, Silver (Bluetooth) US Version (Renewed)

I have had this watch for over 5 years. One of the best watches I have bought. Only issue i have had is the bands don't last as long as the watch.

The watch was exactly as advertised and is in excellent condition.

I decided to take a chance on this "renewed" smart watch and ordered one two days ago.I received the watch yesterday and was amazed at how easy it was to set up. It only took about 10 minutes. As I tested it out, I found out all of the watch functions work fine. It also connected with my cell phone, no problem. I could see phone calls and texts, it controls my phones mp3 player, ect.But as far as the health monitoring, nothing worked. No steps counted, no heart monitor, no sleep monitor. I had noticed some minor wear on the watch face but on the back next to the sensors there was a substantial dent. I thing the sensors were damaged on this watch. I am returning the watch for a refund.

Is good for the price; it works so far; hopefully the battery will last.Not sure why, but it is only working on gray color, no color; Still is acceptable for me, I still like with the gray color.

Renewed? Mine is like brand new and came with 2 bands. Not so much as a scratch.I have several watches including an ancient Rolex Submariner. I doubt that any of them will ever see daylight again.This thing is incredible. I walk quite a bit. The watch has about 1.5gb of music storage and connects flawlessly to Sony earbuds. Now I can leave my phone at home and still enjoy music. Plus I expect that my gym will reopen soon..There are numerous watch faces built in and others are available at the Samsung store (I think for free). Unlike some other smartwatches this has many features that work independently of the phone it is connected to. It is loaded with goodies and a complete manual (PDF) is available at the Samsung website. I definitely recommend downloading the manual to take full advantage of the device.All of the faces are very easy to read. The sports face I am using (today - it's fun to change from time to time) shows time, date, heart rate, battery charge and two step counters. Other faces also show the day of week.There is some textual information provided by apps and notices. While it is small print it is surprisingly easy to read due to the quality of the display. I did have some trouble entering my wifi password as my finger doesn't always tap the intended target. (I am 72 and have a tremor.)I am using the setting that keeps the watch displayed at all times (with dim lighting). When my wrist is tilted to read the screen the face is fully lit. Battery life is fair. I am charging every other day. The charger, by the way, is magnetic. No plugs to fool with.If there is a downside it is the complexity. There are two buttons, bezel turns, swipes and touches that do various things. It is a learning process. A smartphone is much easier to use just by virtue of the difference in screen size. However, you can activate voice commands. It functions like Google Assistant or Alexis.All in all, most people will really love this watch. Presumably people who hate techie things won't buy it in the first place. As always, YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY.

I just received this watch last night so this is mainly a review on the item as received. To preface this review, I have owned an identical Samsung Galaxy 46mm watch, purchased brand new about 10 months ago, which I have used, and very much enjoyed. This one was purchased for my wife to use, as she really has liked mine, so I purchased this for her use. The watch as received looks good cosmetically - no visible blemishes of any significance - honestly, none I could see with the naked eye at 6 inches. The watch paired with my wife's Samsung Galaxy S9 phone without any issues, and appears to be functioning identically to mine without any apparent issues. I have not checked the heart rate monitor for functionality yet, nor have I verified how closely the altimeter/barometer correlates to mine, or how "accurate" the pedometer is. Where I was a little disappointed with this purchase was A) only one wireless charging dock was included, not two as you would receive with a new watch (and as at least one reviewer noted they received two), and B) the charging dock is NOT a Samsung original - I have both, and the one received with this watch is clearly an aftermarket model - it does not say Samsung on the bottom, and it feels clearly different that the Samsung original. Also, I can not say how well the provided charger works yet, as I just put the new watch on my original charger, and everything worked fine - I will probably be fine with what was provided as I have two original docks from my original purchase for us to use at home, and I can use the one provided with this purchase as the travel dock, and the watch only uses about 2-3% of the battery charge sitting overnight off the charger, so long as the screen is turned off, but it is still slightly disappointing that the charger provided was not an original accessory. To be fair, the listing does not specifically say that the charger would be an original, nor does it say you will get two (although it also does not specifically say that the charger may be an aftermarket part either), so for ~$185-$190, this is overall a 4 star purchase in my assessment. I did contact the seller "Chubbiestech," and they agreed to send me an original charger, so I am giving this a 5 star review - assuming that I receive the OE charger.
