I’ve never heard of having to pay for a users guide for anything, especially for something as unintuitive as the Paperwhite. And, the users guide is as difficult to use as the Kindle itself. You have turned your very friendly Kindle into a nightmare.

My new kindle is not working, and I am very upset! I don’t know what to do,since it is a big part of my life. The book really isn’t helping me since I am disabled. I am tempted to send the Kindle back and get another type of device. What should I do?

This book explained in detail just about everything I had known before I bought it, and absolutely nothing that I had been hoping to find out. When I finished reading, I still didn't know how to get out of the book and back to the HOME page -- that's how comprehensive it is!

I had a 7 year old Kindle so it was time to upgrade. The Paperwhite is exactly what I wanted.

What I needed is a booklet with simple 1,2,3 instructions; not super wordy. Consequently, I have not figured out how to use my ding dong Kindle. It SHOULD be very simple........even for a non techy. This book doesn't seem to have that goal.

Book was printed about a previous Kindle and while it has some useful features, a lot of things were changed in the latest model Kindle.

As a Kindle Novice I found the new Guide very helpful in getting me started.It is also a reference tool as I develop Kindle reading skills.I recommend it to Kindle newcomers.
