SIHOO Ergonomics Office Computer Desk Chair, Flip Up Armrest's Mesh Chair

After shopping for office chairs for 2 or 3 months, I for some reason bought this one when I had two others on my wish list. It was pretty easy to put together - the most difficult parts was the at the piece that bolts to the bottom of the seat cushion was not contoured to the curve of the cushion, so I had to use some force to get the bolts to thread into their respective holes. Also, one of the backrest bolt-holes did not easily line up with it's slot in the backrest mount, so again some force was required there. I did like that it came with a hex driver that was more substantial than your typical "L" shaped allen wrench, which made it easier to assemble. It came with some minor scuffs out of the box as the different parts are not very well packed - each piece is in a plastic back separated by a sheet of cardboard. The backrest on mine was not entirely covered by its plastic bag, so I think it rubbed against the side of the container during transit.The chair is decently comfortable to sit in, and the headrest does slide up enough to support by head/neck. My biggest gripe is that the lumbar support is NOT adjustable, and is just a broad slab of plastic on your lower back. I will probably end up adding something there to cushion the lumbar because it's a bit harsh on its own. I'm not much of an arm-rest person, so this is fine for me, but the armrest are pretty spartan and are also not cushioned at all.Honestly at this price point there are probably some better options on Amazon. I wouldn't say I'm unhappy with this buy, but I think you could find better.EDIT: after 4 months, the chair has started squeaking from the gas piston every time I shift in my seat. I'm wishing I'd spent my money on a better quality chair.

I absolutely need to elevate the armrest under my right arm when I work with a computer mouse, or else a muscle in my shoulder would hurt. So my most important criterion to choose the chair was adjustable armrests. Well, they are there and they work. There is also some lumbar support that probably would be better if I could move it, and a headrest that is just a nuisance - it's not adjustable and not comfortable for me in its fixed position, so I just removed it immediately. The quality of details is... uneven. The mesh looks and feels really nice, the armrests are unexpectedly soft, and there were an Allen key with plastic handle, many extra nuts and bolts and even gloves in the pack to make the assembly pleasant. But the corner of the lifting mechanism was bent! It was so deformed that I only could screw the mechanism to the seat without spring washers I was supposed to use, or else the bolts wouldn't even reach the holes!I don't know if this chair would live long, but I will only need it for a few months, so it doesn't bother me.

So an $89 chair feels better than this. I have had good chairs and needed something with a bit more back support. I will give this a positive for the back support! As far as the chair, they must use the cheapest foam. It goes flat and right down to the base of the chair bottom. I weigh only 177 pounds. It states for 300.This chair is so uncomfortable It hurts for what I paid. How can you even ship this back? NEVER will purchase another chair from SIHOO.I have it 1 day (yes... 1 day). I can not sit on it for more than 15 minutes then I have to get up. How can I work with such garbage. CHEAP... and I mean cheap!!! AVOID.My old Furmax office chair is 100% better. No use in attempting to return this! Money wasted.

When my back started hurt I designed it’s time to get new chair, after checking out the description I choose this brand . Since I’m prime member the package arrived very fast. The chair itself is so light so I was able to carry the package so easy.The unpacking box was easy since they include a small blade to open the box. You don’t need to buy any tools for installation. Everything is included with the chair. The installation process was fast and smooth,the instructions clearly says each step ( I’m woman and this was my first chair installation).The chair itself is comfortable and is supporting my back and neck very well I’m 5”11’ tall . Mesh material is breathable, seat area is comfortable plus the armrests are adjustable- this what I like the most .

Very supportive chair that was pretty easy to assemble. Some screw holes don't line up perfectly, but it was good enough. Seems to be pretty well made and rolls nicely on tile floor.Headrest and armrests are adjustable up and down. The rocking resistance is pretty good too. Tightened up the knob underneath and it takes some effort to lean back with is perfect.I wish it could be locked in a position other than upright. It also tends to creak loudly with slight movements sometimes. I re-tightened some screws and lubed them up with 3 in 1 household oil too, but it still does it.
