Sturdy, ergonomic, and wood finished and splinter-free
Used these instead of a shovel for getting wood chips into a Gorilla cart. The wood chips were from a tree trimming company and were absolutely chock full of a tangle of long sticks, so it was absolutely impossible to shovel them. When I bought two of these claws, one for each hand, and went back at it, everything changed. After fruitlessly toiling for weeks and making little progress, I knocked the job of moving a whole truckload of mulch out in a matter of days. Game changer. Buy them! One note though: the wooden handle is beautifully polished and smooth (yay, no splinters!), but it is in fact so smooth that it was slippery and hard to grip with leather gloves. So get gloves that have the rubbery grippy parts on them, too. Then go to town with your awesome ninja claws!

Love all my Japanese tools
Changing over all my garden tools. These Japanese tools are all fantastic. Wish I had discovered them in the first place. Buy GOOD tools and you'll buy once. All those colored pictures of colored tools are just cheap and don't do the job in the yard or on your body. These tools get the job done. I love them. Thank you

Handy Little Cultivator
What a great little cultivator! It's small and feels like an extension of my hand. It's easy to use for scratching out tiny weeds and getting soil loosened for planting. It is very solid and well-constructed for the money. This will get a lot of use in my raised beds.

Strong, built to last
I'm used to using a 3 prong hand cultivator and I've had many that have broken. I decided to try this one and would definitely recommend. Works very well for cultivating/weeding with the 5 prongs. Handle is solid wood and the connection of the tool to the handle looks built to last. Nothing I would change about it and would consider more tools from same company based on what I see with this one.

Sturdy tool. Handle could be better
The metal claws are good. They're flexible enough that you can bend them a wider if you want. The only thing that can be improved on is the handle. The slot is not polished, so it is not easy on the hand. A little bit of sanding takes care of it.

Very sturdy and my weeding go to tool!
Luv this handy tool for weeding and tilling up the soil around plants. Excellent size and feels sturdy and heavy duty in my hands. Don’t think I will need to purchase again, but if necessary, definitely will purchase again and will gift! This is excellent for any gardener of any ability.

Probably the best hand-held cultivator you can buy
I've been gardening for years, and I must say this is probably the best hand-held cultivator you can buy. In one sentence, this is the "Samurai sword" of cultivators.Design: the 5 blades are a big improvement over 3 blade designs. It's also front heavy, which at first felt awkward, but once I used it I see why. Front heavy is better for tiling/cultivating. Materials/craftsmanship: Looks like steel and wood, seemed sturdy with high-quality materials. Packaging: comes in a retail-ready box, would make a great gift.Cons: I am a big man, and I thought the handle was 1-inch too short. I would still use it over my other "cheap" cultivators though. If you have small/normal sized hands, then this won't be a problem.
