A beautiful display case
This piece is stunning! I was a little worried about the high price point, but I did some research into the company and liked that it focused on handcrafted terrariums and was family owned. I’ll be using the piece as a display case (although it’s lovely on its own!) so I can’t speak to sturdiness as a plant container, but it was packaged well and I Seems incredibly well made. I also appreciated that the owner included their personal phone number if I had any issues. In a world where it seems like you can get a lot of cheap products for a flat, cheap price, I’m proud to pay a little bit extra and have something well-made. Would absolutely purchase from H Potter again.

Beautiful old-fashioned terrarium
This is a really nice-quality terrarium. It's big, and fairly heavy. Nice solid base. I'd hate to see what the cheaper terrariums are like.

Exquisite Wardian Case/Terrarium!
Absolutely beautiful Wardian case! Love the quality of the glass, the delicate decorative details, and the size--plenty of room for plants or to contain decorative items and create a striking display within. The item was carefully, perfectly packaged and arrived in pristine condition, which is awesome for any purchase, but particularly so for a fragile item like this one.

Always wanted
This is just beautiful, gifted myself my 50th birthday present. I have always wanted a Terrarium I just wasn’t sure of a moldy mess. When I saw these from H Potter, so looked like good quality. But$$ and Im cheap! I especially purchased this one for the bottom base, it is heavy and very sturdy which reassures me this will keep it in place and not leak. I am anxious to get a bloom from my three year-old orchid and gave my 15 year-old bonsai a new home. I will enjoy this.

This is simply beautiful high quality well made - I love it and will purchase other versions for my orchids, Cyclamens and violets also ferns - hopefully the plants will love it as much as I do. Packed well arrived quickly in perfect condition. Yes it’s exspensive but also good size and well constructed.

Beautiful craftsmanship, a stunning way to present and protect plants
I’ve had this Wardian Case terrarium for nearly a year now, a gift to myself after having it on my list for over a year. It’s pricey because of the curved glass top and resin base - the features that makes this H Potter terrarium stand out from the others in their collection. Because of the quality, I’ve since purchased two other HP terrariums and this one remains my favorite. The resin base is a brilliant idea, and I wish more of H Potter’s designs come with resin instead of a metal base. The metal base on another terrarium that I bought used, which is covered with a paint layer, would chip and rust over time. The resin, however, does not rust nor require a plastic liner. The only thing I would change about this design is having the top railing piece be complete (you’ll see in the detailed photos how one end is cut in half). A deeper base would be even better for thicker drainage layer and growing rootier species. It is a beautiful piece for showcasing your plants, as it alludes to a museum display or the Victorian period. I originally used it to protect my rarest cacti and succulents, but recently planted with some live mosses, lichen, ferns, miniature orchids, and air plants - all of which are thriving. I did not use the HP terrarium kit, but purchased materials from local garden shops. The glass is nice and clear, but I haven’t cleaned mine before the photo. I do recommend this!
