Excellent, but you may have to lower the headlight beam for auto dip to work
Definitely brighter and whiter with a longer range. I had a problem at first as the auto dip on my Peugeot 3008 stopped working so I assumed that the bulbs were so bright and shining so much further down the road that the sensor thought there was a car coming in the opposite direction. I lowered the headlight beam a couple of notches with the adjuster knob on the dashboard and everything worked as it should. Will definitely buy again unless they only work for a short time which I have read can be a problem with all brands of extra bright/white bulbs.

Bright, crisp, and a real upgrade to standard halogen — the right pick for safer night driving
I’ve replaced more than one set of headlight bulbs in my time — usually when the originals got dim or yellowed with age — but the Philips WhiteVision Ultra H7 12V 55W Halogen Light Bulb really stands out compared with standard bulbs. It’s sharp, clear, and makes a noticeable difference when driving at night. I first fitted these bulbs when the stock ones on my car had dulled over time, and from the first drive it was obvious the light was much better. The beam is whiter and brighter — not garish or “blue‑LED” fake, but a clear, clean white that helps road markings, signs, and distant objects stand out more easily. That extra brightness and contrast gives real confidence on dark or rainy nights. Installation was straightforward — they slot in like any H7 bulb. Once fitted, the spread feels wider and more even. On long country roads or unlit streets I find I can see hazards sooner, and road signs and pavement edges appear much clearer. It feels safer. The “ultra‑white” tone doesn’t just look stylish — it’s practical. Visibility improves, which seems to cut down eye strain compared to the old yellowish lights. The bulbs also seem reasonably durable; they haven’t dimmed or flickered over several months of regular use. All in all, these Philips bulbs are a worthwhile halogen upgrade. If you want better visibility, crisper white light, and a headlight upgrade without going full LED, this is a very good choice.

Great lights, but awful packaging
These were used as a replacement for my car after one of the original bulbs gave up the ghost. Before talking about the bulbs, special mention has to go to the packaging. It was a total pain in the neck to get the bulbs out of the inner packet. So much so that I actually contacted Philips about this and they sent a video back how to get the bulbs out. The plastic inside the packet I got was extremely brittle and not pliable at all, so it wasn't possible to get the bulbs out without the retaining plastic shattering and going everywhere. Now, on to the quality of the bulbs. They're well built, and the light that they give out is second to none. There are a few reviews saying that these lights aren't white and very yellow. I would say that this is due to the headlight casings of these owners being in a poor state of repair and that's why the lights are yellow. When comparing the original bulb to the Philips version, the difference was massive. There is also a great throw on these bulbs which make for safer driving at night. They're a bit more expensive than other options out there, but they're well worth it. Plus there are two H4 bulbs included in the pack as well which is a nice bonus.

Much brighter and cleaner look
Swapped out my old bulbs for these and the difference is noticeable right away. The light is whiter and clearer, which makes night driving feel safer and more comfortable. They’re not full LED, but they give a nice modern look without blinding other drivers. Installation was straightforward too. Took off one star because they’re a bit pricier than standard bulbs, but overall—worth it if you want better visibility and style

Good clean slide light bulbs. Nice white colour.
These are excellent clean white light w5w bulbs. I hadn't realised how dull my standard bulbs were, but these are really bright and almost look as clear and bright as dipped bulbs. Definitely recommended. They also have blue glass, so look good reflected in the daylight too. They're an easy fit and simply push into the bulb bases.

Much brighter than original Nissan Micra sidelights
I bought these for a Nissan Micra which has dim yellow sidelights. These Philips WhiteVision Ultra W5W are much brighter lamps (bulbs are things you plant in the ground!). Despite being blue in physical appearance, they do light up bright white and will make my partner's grey car easier to see in the winter in low light conditions. You simply pull the old ones out of the lamp holder and push the new ones in. Don't forget to wipe your invisible natural fingerprint oil off them before activating them to test them, as being halogen lights this oil can cause the lamps to overheat and reduce lifespan. I can't speak to actual longevity but they are a good brand. These lights were good value for money too. If you do happen to be installing these in a similar car (Nissan Micra Mark III), be warned they are challenging to reach behind the headlight units to access and lock/unlock, so my quick tip is to undo the 2 small bolts that hold each light unit securely into the car and then you can wiggle the light unit free just enough so that it tips up at the top end (where you need access tot he rear of the unit to change the lamp). Then you can more easily get your fingers in to tighten the lamp holder back into place after fitting the lamp and it clicks into place.

Only lasted a few months, quite common apparently
Don't normally do reviews, but I bought these bulbs on 9th October 25, installed in car on the 11th Oct 25, this week I've had bulbs blown with in a few days of each other, whilst the bulbs were excellent while working brighter than the original candle bulbs I took out (thankfully I kept the old bulbs so I wasn't left in the dark) a tad disappointed with the longevity as these are not cheap replacements either, to add to my annoyance the car sat for a whole month over Christmas while is away, after some research and a lot of review reading it seems this is common fault with these types of bulbs the don't last long, having had decent lights albeit only few months it's hard to keep using the ome bulbs, so I am trying to source the cheapest competitors like for like, osram h7 night breaker has come up cheaper so giving them ago, I don't hold out much hope.... Just hold on to them original bulbs if your changing out like me you may need them a few months down the line.....
