big in size and good quality, good seasoning, it taste good, and its easy to use. the price is right and highly recommended and will buy more of this soon.

This is a professional grade base. Knorr makes a bunch of flavours including beef, vegetable and seafood. They mix really well whether you do it in a measuring bowl with hot water or directly into whatever you're making. Don't listen to me but I've never stored it in the fridge and have had NO issues in 5 years. You can sometimes find it by the single pound container but the price gets ridiculous. OH its very tasty too. Way better that those little refrigerated jars or salt bomb cubes. You won't go wrong with these

It's Sept 30, 2024. Why do you need to know that? I read reviews that said these have a few short weeks for end of shelf life, given the amount purchased. The first thing I looked for was the best by date and says it's to expire May 2025. I waited almost a month after I ordered to get it because it was backordered which means I was hoping I'd be getting a newer product. I'll be freezing to lengthen the time needed to use since I'm having to buy in bulk. I love this stuff and the price is decent compared to the little 1 oz pods that are about $7/4pk where I live. It adds a lot of flavor to chicken soup stock or other dishes where you need that chicken flavor. Plenty of creative recipes online.

Wow for those who like seafood and shellfish this is as important as chicken stock.

I'm on a doctor-ordered HIGH salt diet so when I think something is too salty, trust me, it is! I came across this product and immediately bought a 6 pack. I love broth but got tired of the salt in them. This soup base has ONLY 135 mg of salt per serviing, MUCH less than the 660 AND MORE in other products! I can make it as I want and not have to find things to add to it to cover the salt! The taste is delicious! If you're looking for a low salt alternative, definitely buy this! The fact that it's got nothing artifical or preservatives is a major bonus to the delicious taste!!

I love Knorr products, but what a total ripoff! This product comes packaged with (6) 1-lb tubs (like butter) in a box. It arrived completely melted. I immediately unboxed it and threw 5 of them in my freezer, and one of them in my refrigerator. I had plans to make roasted chicken and was going to use it in my side dishes. Upon looking at the expiration date, all of them expire October 14, 2021. So basically, I’ll get to use this tub a few times. But after I thaw out the other ones, I’ll only get to use them once, then have to toss them. NOT COOL, KNORR! These weren’t cheap! I’ve been busting my butt during this pandemic, and have been cooking home-cooked meals a LOT for my family and friends. Way to stick it to the little guy. I’m barely making it as it is, on a bus driver’s salary, and now you’re trying to sell people bulk product they can NEVER use in the amount of time before it expires. I worked in food service for 14 years. You don’t mess around with expiration dates. I’m going to contact Amazon in the hopes of getting a refund, because Knorr didn’t have a customer service number, from what I could see. Just not cool. I’m so disappointed in what I thought was such a trusted brand.

The idea that one might be able to get chicken paste for enhancing the flavor of chicken soups and gravies was one I had not really entertained before I bought this stuff. It is a wonderful addition to give oomph to soup, broth, gravy, or sauce that is tasting a little thin and bland. The good news is that the paste really is rich in actual chicken flavor as well as some aromatics that one would normally use to make good chicken stock. If you don't have time to roast chicken carcasses and then boil them down to make chicken stock, this could be the next best thing.

I like this product but do not appreciate that it has already expired before I even got it. I’m sure it is fine for a while but that just isn’t right.
