Symbol (Mini)

I'm a designer who collects books for inspiration. This book is worth purchasing. It's small, but packs a lot of punch. Hundreds and hundreds of shapes and symbols, labeled and categorized professionally.

A collection of Symbols. Very nicely done. Heavy paper. Feels good to hold it in hands. :)

Exactly what I was looking for, with ample references taken from around the world and divided into categories, and printed on heavy paper. Beautiful for idea stimulation. The only thing i would change would be to make the book physically taller and wider so it could be opened and examined without having to physically hold it open.

I bought this because Amazon suggested it when I was shopping for other design books. Turns out, it's awesome. Just in case you also skip over the description, this book is huge. There is a massive amount of pages to flip through, heavily graphic reliant with some small amounts of text, mostly just describing who owns the logos.Highly recommended.

It does have some good symbols in it but also many complicated graphics. If you already own the large and well-known Logo book then this one is more like an abridged and bag-sized version. Its great at the price (buy it used) but not as strong of a selection as the competitor. I really just wanted a book of symbols from throughout history and cultures to give me inspiration for logo designs, not the completed products.

This book, written in conjunction with talented Angus Hyland, is a great reference for anyone interested in learning more about types of symbols, similar symbols, how similar companies use similar imagery or icons in their symbols and logos. Basically a great visual guide to symbols.

The book was good but its delivery was delayed for 2 months with endless back and forth communication with the Amazon team to follow up and re-re-re-arrange delivery. Product was great but the arrangements and service were horrendous.

Like "Logo," this is the perfect reference manual. Great for inspiration.

A very good book with logo symbols, however very compact and the text is very tiny to read, I need a magnifying glass to read the contents. LolOtherwise, very good book to reference and get inspiration for your logo design.Most of the logo in black and white with few you coloured pages of logo.

It's exactly what I bought it for. Two indices in the back helps with finding logos by name or type. Great book.
