I got this for a Bowsette cosplay, and it was absolutely perfect for it. I added spikes to it and moved the straps, so I could feel how sturdy the straps were and was very pleased at how they held up. It’s a decent size, very soft material, and holds my phone, wallet and keys nicely - it’s really squishy so there’s plenty of room in there for other stuff if you need to tuck it away.I know other reviewers have lamented the flat and comparatively small storage space inside the backpack, but this is a large plush item so I was expecting that and I really didn’t need much space for anything than my phone, wallet and keys to take to a convention.

I got this backpack so I could dress up a yellow lab mix dog as the Lakitu from Mario Kart! It looked SO cute on her! She was so proud of her cosplay! The backpack is really well made and would also make a great bag for a human. Not super roomy inside but it'll definitely carry your phone, keys, and a water bottle or two during a con!

It looks vaguely like what is pictured but the quality is pretty low; knock off quality is an acccurate description. They use iron-on paper to create the pattern on both sides of the shell which is incredibly lazy construction. I suppose this is a good example of getting what you pay for. Get the on brand Nintendo version if you want this for every day use.

So far mine has held up well - I used it for Halloween and for cosplaying. I get a ton of compliments on it, I’d highly recommend.

Perfect for a costume I had to throw together for my sons school play! Love it! Don’t recommend using it as an actual backpack... shell is stuffed and only enough room for a notebook and pens.

No room to actually put anything in the pocket other than flat small things like credit cards or money. Heats up your back. Looks cute though.
