It fit like a dream. The pin came attached (other ushankas I ordered didn't have their pin attached and it was a nightmare trying to make hole to put it on). The inner lining is well stitched and is able to insulate heat (it feels like a very smooth sort of stiff pillow). The outer lining is made of a semi-soft fur like material. It isn't the softest thing I have every felt, but it isn't important to me that it isn't soft (I am not feeling it when I wear it -other than when I use it to cover my ears). It is a great, durable hat. The only complaint I have is the ties at the ear muffs part of the hat are very flimsy (they also frayed and I had to use fabric glue). I also got a lot of interesting comments while wearing it (some good, some bad). You could always take off the pin (or, as I have, replace it with a different pin if you want to spice things up) if you don't like the attention.

Bought the hat mostly to add onto a running joke within my family, just for laughs ya know? But all jokes aside the hat is great quality as is the pin included with it. Glad to see it wasn’t some flimsy costume badge. Told my friends how much it cost when I showed it to them and they thought I over paid but by the end of the night they agreed it was well worth it. Now they all want one. Great quality, great feel, and just fun to wear.

My wife was skeptical when I ordered this. It reminded me of one I had about 50 years ago. Now that I have no hair to speak of my head gets cold. Well, the Ushanka arrived in time for me to wear it during our latest snowstorm. I was forced to park my car and walk over a mile in the snow. When I got home I was covered with ice and snow but I was warm and cozy. Great hat, great price and it arrived at the right time!

this hat was for my son. the hat is very well made and very warm but we were unable to attach the pin since the pins attached to it were very weak and broke off as we were trying to attach it. maybe it should be attached already before sending it out to customers.

This hat has a Fur top and ear flaps with fur on the inside of the flaps. In the actuall hat part it is a very soft and strong material 4/5. On the tank side oops I mean durability this is a monster that will not stop at anything to keep you warm and comfy. The strap that holds the hats ear parts on your chin and over the top of the hat is actually a lace that ties it also dose not fray almost at all. Overall 5/5. This Ushanka is also stylish as long as you were something that is not like a t-shirt with it but even if you do it isn't that bad it will just look big on your head more than if you wo something that went with it. You can also spray water around the edges and streach it lightly to make it fit larger heads. The star is also removable as a plus you may also put it back on if that is your thing. Overall 4/5 on style. in ranking this I put serious consideration into the entire structure in this hat and would say that it deserves a 4/5. The reason for this rating is because it is not any faux product but for the amazing price for what it is it cannot really be beat. This is truly a product that looks like the picture lastly I would highly recommend this Ushanka.

Great hat, very warm I only wish the strings were about 6 inches longer, it can be hard to tie around the chin, I just paid $25 to have new strings sewn on so you can figure on doubling the price of the hat to make it more funtional

I recently moved to a snowy area and needed something warmer than a ballcap. This hat fits the bill to a tee. The inside is soft and isn't too tight, so long term wearing is comfortable. The soviet logo is also removable in case you want to avoid a political debate with some random guy. Thanks Vlad.

I love this awesome ushanka. Not only is it comfortable and warm but very well made. The pin is a bit hard to get back on but a hole with scissors or a pencil will do. Five stars for the best made and feeling ushanka I’ve had! Definitely will buy all the types of colours. Customer support was great because my pin broke when I got it but they sent a new one and faster than most. All in all , if you need and ushanka for a gift or to not freeze your head in winter, go for this one as it's amazing. Thanks.
