Nanuk 909 Waterproof Hard Case with Foam Insert - Black

I Purchased the NANUK 909 case for my Malahit receiver and accessories. I also purchased the 925 case to fit inside my 909 to hold these accessories such as the charging cables, telescopic antenna and various other small gadgets that didn’t make sense to pick and pluck permanent individual spaces for items that are likely to be transitional. Keeping my system as compact as possible was a priority, and the 909 case is perfect for that. The pick and pluck foam allowed me to make modifications to suit the style and look that I was going for. This case is Very High Quality and built to withstand the rigors of every day use. It’s also Good Looking with an Upscale Vibe, solid construction and tight clamshell closure with nice clicky latches. Got this one on sale as I did with the 925. I’m a NANUK customer for life!

Excellent case! Just the right size to hold my Hero9, and the majority of my accessories. Holds my Hero9 with waterproof case, 3 batteries, dual battery charger, Apple wall charger, floatie hand grip, head strap, 5 different mounting clips, 4 mounting screws, and 2 charging chords (one for the Hero9, and one for the dual battery charger). The foam insert comes pre-cut into small cubes, so you just need to pull the cubes out where you want your specific item to fit. One thing to note however, is although the cubes are pre-cut for you, they aren't that easy to pull out. Be careful or you could ruin the space you are trying to create. I used a razor blade to splice through the parts of foam cube that weren't easily removed, and a small pair of needle-nosed pliers to extract the foam once I cut through it. Fingers came in handy as well, in order to hold down the foam sheet while pulling out cubes and shaping my spaces. I now use the original case that came with my Hero9 for holding DivePro filters, SanDisk storage case, various additional mounting clips, and misc. items. All things considered, this case works great for my needs, and I know my Hero9 is protected. I can recommend this case without hesitation.

I have several Nanuk cases. They are pricey but they are extremely well made. They protect your gear from drops, spills and take alot of abuse and still keep their shape and continue to look great.

This is my first Nanuk case as I normally buy Pelicans. This is much nicer than my pelican cases. I am using it to store a MSM Nomad kit. It contains the polar laser, wedge, MSM ball head, Z flex tilt pan head, the the Nomad. I also store the small bag of screws and battery charger for thr laser under the lid foam. I would buy another Nanuk case in the future.

Best life proof gear cases from a both functional and form perspective. I have pelican and many others but Nunuk is my favorite overall. Amazon has the best prices point on the internet when/if you catch it on a down swing.

Very well made case, feels quite solid, and made a good home for my nicer antenna analyzer. Hinge pins are put into blind holes, meaning that some yahoo can't just use a hammer and punch to get into your stuff... not that it matters with something this size, because they'd probably just grab and go. But still, if you put a decent lock on it, you can be reasonably sure that, even if your stuff gets taken, they'll probably end up destroying the case. This one comes with peel and pluck foam, not my favorite, and I may make my own custom cut foam insert, but realistically, the peel and pluck stuff does just fine, unless you're loaning your stuff out to people in the military, in which case it gets trashed.
