Fitment and functionality are great but the Finnish is lacking.
I installed this in my 2007 Chevy 2500hd Classic, the fitment in the wheel was nice and snug so I don’t think they will slide out on their own. They have worked flawlessly for the 3 months I’ve had them in but I have noticed the paint is already wearing on the volume button. I know this is the not the volume button I’m currently reviewing but I replaced all of the steering wheel controls with Doorman buttons at the same time. Straight out of the box the color was slightly off from the rest of the grey and black plastics in the truck, if you weren’t looking for it you might not even notice it so it’s not a huge deal but just something to keep in mind.

Finally, I Have Illuminated Steering Wheel Switches Once More
Was relieved to find these Dorman switches, as I thought I was doomed to have failed back-lights on all my steering wheel controls. GMC definitely used some cheap bulbs/LEDs in the original switches. This switch pod and the other large pod were the easiest to remove (1/8 flat-head screwdriver to pop out, and depress the release clip) and easiest to replace, as there was enough wire slack get a good grip on the connector spade with some needle nose while pushing on the new switch - you'll hear it click. The two small switches are a bit more trouble, as there is hardly any wire slack (at least on my 2005 Tahoe), and I crushed one connector spade trying to pull it out far enough to allow me to push on the new switch (luckily it still works). I've seen installation videos on YouTube, and some Blogs, where folks have removed and their steering wheel and disassembled it order to install these switches. No need to do that, as you'll probably cause more problems for yourself.[UPDATE 10-06-16] This particular unit just burned out, after replacing all of the units in the steering wheel in Sept 2014. Good thing they are inexpensive, as I'll just grab another. Then simply press the pod back into the steering wheel. I would have given this one 5 stars, but the "Source" light is considerably brighter, and more yellow. The "Program/On Star Call" light color/brightness is just like the original.

Much less expensive than the dealer
I like that these are LED lighted verses the original incandescent lighting in the originals. Much less expensive than the ones you would get at the dealer. Quality is just fine. I have hand any problems with them since installing over a year ago. They are not easy to install but that's not Dorman's fault. Rather it is the design of the vehicle.I installed these in an 06 GMC Sierra truck. There are some good YouTube videos that will step you through installing these. If your not mechanically inclined, leave the installation to a good mechanic.

Perfect replacement
Yeah, I guess I could have removed and popped open my original switch, unsoldered the leads for the tiny lightbulbs, resoldered the leads to the new tiny lightbulbs, put it all back together and hope for the best. But, nah...soldering that fine and precise on a small circuit board just isn't my thing, so I just bought this and replaced the whole thing. Works and looks exactly as the old OEM, was a breeze to install. I'm very happy!

Excellent product !
Looks and works just like OEM but much cheaper . Arrived quickly and well packed . These are a little tricky to install if you have never done one but if you are careful it is an easy fix for inop switch or burned out bulb ,which is what usually happens to these . Be careful when removing that you don't break the wires or plug , there is just enough slack to release plug from switch and reinstall .

Works great! Highly recommended!
Since I was removing the steering wheel, I decided to replace all the switches at once (901-120, -121, -122, -123). I actually had two switches whose back lighting was out. I also wanted to ensure each switch looked the same at night (personal preference). The original switches had an off-white color while the new ones appear more white at night. The switches are a perfect fit and work like the original switches. Totally worth the money.I have a 2006 GMC Yukon Denail, so I followed the directions detailed here:[Search 'tahoeyukonforum forum 44062']The step-by-step directions worked perfectly for me. The only item I added was to mark a line from the alignment arrow on the steering wheel to the shaft to make sure I aligned it correctly when I reassembled it. My steering wheel came off easily, so I did not require a wheel puller.I am very happy with the Dorman switches, so I took the risk and purchased the Dorman 949-000 Suspension Compressor and the Dorman 746-015 Door Lock Actuator. Totally happy with those purchases as well.
