Radio Remote Control 1/14 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Licensed RC Model Car (Orange)

Got this for my 11 year old son for Christmas. His favorite car is a Bugatti Veyron and wants to own one when he is grown. He was awed by the car. The speed, the head lights, the ease of remote, the sharpness of the turns. He continues to find things he likes about the car. The detail and color is amazing in likeness. I would highly recommend this remote car for anyone old enough to appreciate a car of this quality and design.

We love this. I saw some poor reviews and I was worried, but this RC car is awesome. We bought it for my 6 year old. The design is beautiful. It runs smoothly and is easy to control (although it is very fast and takes a short time to get used to regulating speed, but my 6 year old is able to do that). It has been fun for all of us. We keep it strictly in doors! So happy with this purchase!

Got the Car yesterday and was happy with the quality of the body. as mentioned, it's fast but it's not the car for drifting. Also noticed the turning radius is not much and requires more space, which explains why it's not for drifting. Good to have the controller with radio frequency. Runs on carpet and will consume more battery. Yet to take the car outside, hopefully the radio frequency range will be good. In a nutshell, like the car and it's performance.

I bought this for our 9 year old granddaughter, it's something she's wanted for a long time. I'm not much of a car nut, but I will say that this Bugatti is beautiful--that's just icing on the cake, and not at all a big deal for the kiddo. The car is fast and fun. It worried all of us to have her driving this around in the living room, as it hit the furniture really hard. In retrospect, I wish we'd bought a car that had different speed ranges, as this one really is a bit too fast for indoors. There is what I guess is called a tracking adjustment on the underside in case it goes to the left or right of center. Batteries last well. The RC unit is a reasonable size for adult and child hands, and the range is good. However...my R/C car at home has a proportional throttle: the car can be run fast or slow depending on the position of the throttle lever. This car has only off, plus forward and reverse, both of which are fast, as well as non-incremental steering. So to moderate the speed, one does what annoying drivers do: pump the gas pedal, or in this case the lever, from off to on to off to have some control of the speed. Pretty though the car is, it is surprisingly rugged. Granddaughter repeatedly had wrecks with this going full speed into posts on the deck at her house. I have found one little scratch with peeling of the cover layer of paint; the way this car ran into those posts, I anticipated having to hold it together with duct tape. In summary, I think this would be great for a casual hobbyist of pre-teen or older years. I think it's a bit too hard to control for a 9-year-old, but don't tell that to my granddaughter--she loves it just as it is, and it's going to run for many miles on deck or driveway.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for the sons of some dear friends of ours, and they have not stopped sharing the many fun times that their boys have had as a result. It is a very good product, has a large size to it, and it priced extremely well, for what you get in return! I recommend this remote control car as a gift for your own child or as a present, as the recipient is highly entertained!

Here's a warning for those of you who plan to buy two cars, one for each of your children like I did. The frequency on these cars is NOT changeable and the chances of you getting two cars with the same frequency is very high. For those of you who don't know what this means (and I didn't before I ordered them), your kids cannot play together. The closest controller controls both cars. The kids won't be able to race them properly. Now, this being said, if you're only buying one, it's a great car; durable and fast. Your kid (even the big one) will love it. But since I purposely bought two for my kids to race, this did not work and left me two disappointed children on Christmas.

Bought this for our 4 year old based on reviews that it could take a lickin'- it has not disappointed! He has been driving this car into walls for the past 2 months and it just keeps going. Beautiful bright color and fast. He loves it and with the rechargable batteries we have had no problem keeping him occupied for long stretches.

My son is 11 and has always been in love with this car. I was really excited to find an rc version of it for him. I surprised him with it by driving to down the hallway to him and he was over the moon. The lights on the front and back are a real nice touch as well. I had no problem with getting it to work, but the battery door on the remote control did have to be taped down to work. Also the control is double a's and not 9v as listed. I also really wished it had been lithium battery pack instead of a bunch of double a's. But overall really happy with it.
