A good antenna for no ground plane!
i have a jeep with a plastic roof and i needed a good vhf antenna. This was a good buy! Most VHF antennas require almost a 3 foot diamiter of ground plane to receive signal correctly. This antenna doesnt due to the load coil. I would recomend this for anybody that needs an antenna and does not have the ground space area.

I needed an short antenna that would not hit all the branches I run under on my Jeep. Not only was that accomplished, but the operation was perfect

Good antenna, shorter than a 5/8 wave...
Good all around vhf communications antenna. Used to install them many years ago on all types of vehicles. This one is for my 2 meter ham radio. Bout all I can say...
