SHARPIE27075 Accent Pocket Style Highlighter, Assorted Colors, 5-Pack

I really enjoyed using these highlighters for class. I enjoy writing notes in different bright colors to help me differentiate between subjects while leafing through my notebook. These highlighters do just that! Some colors are sort of dark like the blue and the green colors which slightly obscure black text when you highlight it, but they aren't so dark that you wouldn't be able to see the highlighted text at all. Pink, yellow, and orange are the best for highlighting black text IMO though. But because I use these in place of gelly roll pens it is still worth using the darker shades for note-taking as well! If you're using these like writing pens, these highlighters are comfortable to hold and the tips glide like butter on paper. I don't get any hand cramps and no smudging of text is noted in any of the colors I've used so far. There is no discernable scent or alcohol smell that you get with other plans so my sensitive nose is grateful for that lol. I've tested each of these and attached photos of what these highlighters look like on text as well as what they look like on plain printer paper. The shipping was fast, the product was fairly priced and I'm very satisfied with the quality of these highlighters. Once the semester is over and I am out of ink I will be reordering again. I highly recommend these highlighters. Five stars.

These highlighters are bright, colorful, and cheerful. While they can be used for any kind of highlighting in books and journals, I find them particularly effective in highlighting ballpoint pen notes written on index cards, in a journal, or in a notebook because the Smear Guard feature works quite well on ballpoint pen ink; even on gel-pen ink these will work well if you give the ink a few moments to dry. The chisel point is a nice feature, too, which allows you to make either very thin or reasonably broad strokes, and the ink flow-rate is moderate enough to ensure no bleed-through on all but the thinnest writing paper. As a medical student, I go through LOTS of highlighters! I think I've purchased at least 3-4 packs of these highlighters (I like having a set for home and a set for my school bag), and I still love them! The ink lasts a long time and they don't dry out (they often sit on my desk with the caps off as I read). They're also the only highlighters that I've found that consistently DON'T smudge/smear my notes. The colors are bright and light enough that you don't have any problems reading the text that is highlighter, and I haven't had any issues which the ink bleeding through any of my note/book pages, either. I purchased my sets when they were $2.99, which I thought was a steal for 5 good highlighters (I see that currently they are listed for $4.19). Definitely recommend these highlighters!!

Will definitely purchase these highlighters again. Only critique is that they seem to bleed through paper very easily, so you have to be quick, swift and precise with your marks.
