Much better photo quality than SpyPoint Game Camera and more reliable - 5 Stars
Very easy to set up and if you can't figure it out, the customer service is amazing. I used the SimHero included (they just started doing this, before they included an AT&T sim card) and it's GREAT - it comes preloaded with 500 photos and their cheapest plan costs $7. The camera still works with AT&T but I'm using SimHero - it has the same signal as AT&T or T-Mobile. My main interest is IR photos/clips of our vacation resident wild hedgehog. The range of settings makes for a very versatile camera, especially so at this price. I have a SpyPoint camera as well but the night vision photos aren't as great and we don't always receive the photos on our phone which is important for me considering that the camera is 4 hours away. 1st night I got nothing! Maybe the memory card wasn't set up correctly, after a few manual exposures, I tried again and it worked. I've now used it for a few nights and come to the following conclusions. For fast moving objects (hedgehogs are surprisingly fast) if set to Image + Video, by the time the camera has taken the photo and is ready for video there is nothing there. I got much better results with video only or image x 3. Our hedgehog and cats will trigger the PIR set to Normal at 15 yards with ease. The 56 IR LEDs are probably the best on the market from my research. The "no glow" from the LEDs seems to not be visible to cats but a couple of them have walked over during the day to investigate. They didn't seem worried, just curious. The hedgehog doesn't seem to be able to see them either. Last night I had about 50 videos, 50 x 20(s) = 1000s = approx 16 minutes In theory, this means the batteries will last less than 24 nights and that doesn't include setting up and viewing on the LCD. The results, however, are well worth it, so either buy rechargeable good batteries, a solar panel or make up a 6v supply for the camera. For those interested in close up stuff, my latest video clips are 2 meters away and they are sharp. I was amazed to discover we have 2 hedgehogs, who judging by the fight are not friends! Overall, Great cellular game camera, photo quality, and impressive night vision. Receiving the photos on my phone is the best thing about it!

Night pic quality degrades over time. Not weatherproof. Good warranty.
Had some issues setting up. Store owners did a good job of helping me out. Customer service is second to none. They know everything about these cameras. When something isn't going right, they know the solution. Pictures were good during daylight. See attached picture for reference. Pictures were average close up at night, they were below average past 15 feet at night. Grainy. I have set up on a hog trap, to see when to shut the cell activated gate. Worked ok for 2 months, then nothing. Found camera full of water from a very heavy overnight rain. See picture attached. Camera lense is full of water. It worked good enough to alert me that pigs were in trap. Just doesn't work well in heavy rains. Not worth the price for a little over 2 months of use. But the their warranty policy does replace bad cameras. If it worked for 2 years, I would be ok with that. Most non cellular trail cameras usually go bad around 2 years. Update: Seller replaced the camera that filled with rain water. Will be putting back on my hog trap in a couple of weeks to see if things change. Second Update: The new one arrived. I went to set it up, but something was different. The last one was complicated to set up, but customer service was second to none. Same as this time, called, they walked me through the set up. Being older and not very versed in electronic technology, it was best to call to get help on setting up. It seems that AT&T will no longer let cell cameras text pictures to AT&T phones. You have to go through an app, like Spypoint does. Unless you get an AT&T SIM card, which runs about $40/month. CreativeXP sent a SIM card with the camera that costs $110/year for unlimited pics. There are other cheaper plans. I took this one cause I use it year round, it just sends to a gmail account. Yahoo email didn't work with the type of picture it sent. If the pics were clearer and could see farther at night, and there was a phone app, this would be a 4 star cell camera. The only thing that could make this one better is if they used an app to make changes from phone, instead of having to drive hours to make changes to the camera settings at the camera itself. Other manufacturers use an app or camera software to do this, at the same price for the camera. Update again. Attached 2 night pictures. The lense fogs up in winter when the temps change at night. One pic is foggy, the other looks like the night flash is going out, night pics are getting harder to see over time. The attached night pic that is not foggy is of a hog in my trap, you can see it's eyes only. If you don't know it's there, you won't see it. The camera is set up about 10 ft. from the trap gate. It seems like over time, night picture quality suffers or the flash is going out. Day pictures are usually pretty good. I attached a day pic for reference. The last pic attached is on a clear night. I think this replacement camera is going out. This is an expensive camera for what you end up getting as far as picture quality at night. If you only want day time pics, this one works unless the weather is bad. Another Update: Talked with customer service again. They are replacing my second camera, it couldn't be repaired. So far, their customer service and life time warranty policy is working great. Last Update: When I purchased this camera, they advertised a lifetime warranty. They changed the warranty to 1 year as of this update. This camera was replaced twice under the first year of warranty, so camera #3 has filled with water AGAIN. This is advertised as a waterproof camera. Every time I had it out in a heavy rain, it goes out. It cannot take a heavy rain. For $300 I am replacing with a Covert brand, which advertises a 2 year warranty. The shipping time for me to send the old one and receive the new one puts the camera in shipping more than in the field. I am going to check out the Covert camera brand. I will never buy this Creative JUNK again!!! Dishonest people selling Chinese JUNK!!!

Amazing AT&T cellular game camera to receive the photos on my phone - 5 STARS
What an amazing hunting gadget - it makes it so much more fun! I’ve had great results from the 3G Trail Camera from Creative XP. I have multiple in the field year around for monitoring whitetail deer and other game animals as well as using multiple for residential and business securty purposes. I highly suggest you run Eneloop PRO AA x 8 batteries or an external battery where possible (to save money). The camera gets better cellular signal than my iPhone 6 with ATT and I receive pictures on my phone & email within 45-60 seconds. IMPORTANT to remember that it works only with AT&T sim cards but it can send the photos to any US phone network - for example your phone can be on Verizon and still will receive the photos. My plan cost around $30 and allows me to receive as many photos I want! Simple to setup and use, with full HD quality pictures both in daylight and at night (12MP) and comparing to my spypoint and covert, the PRO3 offers the best photo quality so far. The PIR trigger works effectively and the time is under 0.5 seconds. Successfully allowed us to identify which of the neighborhood cats were regularly using our front garden! The case is durable and appears to be quite weatherproof, shuts and seals nice and tightly; the strap and bracket mounting options are both useful, allowing the camera to be deployed anywhere you need it to be. They include a new tree mount which i like more than the strap. All in all one of the best choices on the market and I will totally recommend it to my fellow hunters. God Bless America and Its People!

Review of Set-Up, Manual, and Battery Life (SET-UP TIPS HERE ALSO!)
My rating of this camera may improve over my time and usage of the camera. The customer support, while maybe not available quite “on-demand” is really good and personable—sincerely interested in us having a good result. If better instructions were incorporated into the manual for setup of the camera (with reference to missing instructions in this review), I would certainly upgrade my review rating and update with positive feedback. I’d suggest to the manufacturer to watch a couple of newbies set up the camera from scratch, and even observe them in the AT&T store so that it can be seen how people approach the setup. You can learn loads from this approach. The manual would be improved by updates from this approach. OK, the camera itself seems to be pretty decent. I'll say that up-front. However, it required almost a whole day to mess with the camera settings to get it working right. About the AT&T SIM card setup experience: Bottom line is you've got to get your SIM card set up with an AT&T account at the AT&T store. When you haul your camera in to the store, be prepared: Not everyone in the store understands what you're trying to do and may be pretty confused about what account to set up. You probably shouldn't expect them to know how to manipulate the camera and frankly, better not even ask them. I sensed they didn't have any idea about in, in my case. If you haven’t done this kind of account set-up before, I think what would be really helpful from the manufacturer is either provide a contact at AT&T that is familiar with camera setups or at least provide customers with a short letter that explains in very specific terms to the AT&T representative exactly what needs to happen. It doesn’t mean that any customer can’t walk-in to a store and explain it themselves, but I have heard from AT&T reps that “a data plan is not needed, just a basic plan with MMS messaging.” (which is apparently wrong—you need a data plan attached.) After I found an AT&T rep that thought he could help me, we set up the 3G SIM card with an 8GB/mo account for $40/mo… (This is an AT&T plan that I’m going to dump in favor of a new, inexpensive carrier that only costs around $8/mo. SIM is going to be provided by the manufacturer.) Keep in mind the GB capacity of the carrier’s data plan. In my case, I want to enable lots and lots of higher-resolution 1920x1440 photos to be sent to my phone, with the “unlimited" default setting in the camera selected. It is possible to cap the photos it sends to 100 per day, which may be a factor for the data plan you choose. If you choose to go with a per-minute plan with AT&T you'll pay $0.25/min, which can rack up time (time=money). I'll repeat this a different way to make it clear: If you want to go cheap, then limit the number of photos you receive in one day to just a few in the menu, like maybe 5 or 10 per day, and then take the $0.25/min account. It sounds like the new carrier being offered by the manufacturer is the cheapest/best way to go, though. You’ll have to ask him for it (call their support number). If you choose AT&T over the new carrier option offered by CreativeXP, then when you go to the AT&T store BRING: 1. Photo ID 2. debit/credit card 3. 3G SIM card, which you'll get shipped to you separately when you order this camera —don’t use a 4G SIM card offered at the store. It must be 3G. (At time of this writing, the camera only supports 3G.) 4. the camera with fresh batteries & antenna. NOTE: You will need to get the IMEI number from the camera's menu at Other / About. The AT&T folks need this to set up the account with this device. CAMERA SETUP: Look, the manual... it's OK, but a few things are mislabeled or explanations missing. You may not find all the information you're looking for, in other words. Here's the frustrating part. I made all the settings I wanted in the camera, including inputting my phone's number to receive photos over MMS, and settings for MMS, which I configured only for MMS messages (not SMTP email or FTP server, just MMS messages. I guess I figured, "let's start with simple.”) The SIM Auto Match feature, which you can find in the 3G menu, which is selected by default, didn't seem to do the trick to populate the settings correctly. Something was wrong. I didn't get photos sent to me from the camera. I found some settings on the company's own YouTube video (not found in the manual! WHAT THE...??) that listed settings right in the video description (video entitled “How to fix Error 500 + How to Change Manual MMS settings - CreativeXP 3G Cellular Trail Camera PRO3"). APPLYING THESE SETTINGS DID NOT WORK. Instead, I found this site (search for “at&t apn settings 3G or at&t apn settings wap details:") and used the provided settings (scroll to down the 3G settings on that site). Lo, and behold. It actually worked! Let me tell you what was wrong with the original settings: The camera will send photos over MMS when the MMS Proxy and MMS Port settings are left blank. So, just delete those two settings manually. (UPDATE 6/20/19: After sending 69 photos, the camera stopped working. I took it down from its high perch in a tree. The settings had changed on the camera since I placed it in the tree. I took it home, reset the settings as I had before and it still wouldn’t send photos (“send fail 400” error message appeared on the display.) Contrary to how I started this paragraph, I now reapplied the MMS Proxy (“wireless.cingular.com") and MMS Port settings (“80”) and now it sends photos… What I’m learning here is that there may be a defect in the product’s settings management. END OF UPDATE.) Now, when in the camera's live video mode, I was able to push the OK button (do so quickly) and it took a photo, said "sending MMS" on the camera's display, and sent it to my phone over MMS! I got it! For real! Yey! There is a problem with camera settings that may prevent sending photos: For some reason, when I have the Cam Mode (from menu Cam / Cam Mode) set to photo + video (to record both photo and video when camera triggered), and the PHYSICAL SWITCH below the camera’s display set to video, it will not send the photo over MMS, even though it records the photo and video on the device's SD card. So, in order to do these two things: A) both record photo and video to my camera's SD card AND B) also send an MMS photo to my phone, set it up like this: 1. From the camera Menu, set the camera mode: Cam > Cam Mode = Photo + Video 2. Below the camera's display screen, make this setting: Set the switch to Photo (not set to video) Also, make sure that you have BOTH physical On/Off switches set to ON. The one on the left is for the camera and the one on the right is for the 3G radio antenna. You should see the a 3G signal strength indictor on the camera’s display. I’m not sure it really tells you the signal strength, as I’ve only seen it showing all bars. This thing is now sending me photos. Sometimes it curiously goes to sleep and doesn't send, but the photo & video probably did record on the SD card at the very least. By the way, don't expect videos to be send over MMS. I don't think this camera supports that feature. BATTERY LIFE: On its first day, the camera, once mounted to a tree, sent me 69 photos. There were guys doing some construction at my property, so it was triggered a lot. However, it has stopped sending photos. When I request a photo from the available iPhone app, I get a ‘success message,’ as usual, but this time, no photo. The camera seems to be alive, but not sending photos and it could be a battery life issue. Well, the camera DID get triggered a lot on its first day (Five 12MP images and 15 seconds of 720p video for each trigger, plus sending me a 1920x1440 resolution photo to my phone). Yet, I had installed the recommended NiMH batteries as suggested for longer battery life. I will have to investigate what the issue really is. I suspect that for longer life, I will have to change the settings and maybe try regular alkaline or lithium batteries. In my Moultrie trail camera, alkaline seemed to work much longer than lithium. I don’t know why. I plan on waiting for Creative XP’s solar panel, rather than buy a compatible one off the market. There may not be much difference, but it makes sense to get a solar panel that is tested with this camera. ALL IN ALL: This is a good camera. Battery life is in question, but maybe I have to realign my expectations for high-volume triggers and crank the recording settings down for lower battery usage. The manual needs some updates. The manufacturer should advertise availability of their new carrier, since it will be much less expensive for customers. The really big issue is providing the correct set-up instructions and providing these instructions up-front and visible for customer. I think a reasonable expectation is to be able to set up and run the camera without having to call customer support. I would buy this camera again. Once the quirks are worked out, it really is a good camera.

9/10 great camera
Set up was super easy, only took about 5 minutes, and it gets service at the spot I hunt that my phone doesn’t. I kept the sensitivity at factory setting and I only get pictures of animals and no leaves falling. The pictures are good but you can’t zoom in because they are blurry once zoomed in at all. Night pics only take a straight lane of like and the sides of the picture are pretty dark. Great camera just needs a tad bit better resolution for the price. Over all 9/10 would recommend and will purchase again!

Excellent value for money and good backup service too! What's not to like? 5 Stars, No Wasted Time!
Excellent images, easy to use, reliable. I purchased 4 cameras, all similar-looking but different brands, for use as home security in an emergency situation -- so it wasn't wildlife I was looking to capture with it, but a dodgy builder who had threatened to come to the house and break in. The CreativeXP PRO3 was one of the 4 cams I bought and, although at face value they all look similar, I found this particular one was more functional and user-friendly too. I managed to set this one up faster and it had more reliable results so that just showed me that I'd correctly interpreted the user guide -- whereas some others were very hit and miss - their online manual is in perfect English with photos and everything. The images are extremely clear, and the camera is easily triggered by the sensors. But it's not TOO easily triggered so certainly in my case, I did not get any shots endless messages on my phone that were leaves blowing around or similar; every shot was a useful one with either a vehicle, animal or person in it. One thing i did find amusing was finding out how many colorful but nosy birds live around my garden (no, i'm not talking about my neighbors). These little birds seemed to be fascinated by it and kept coming right up close - they were not scared at all. They managed to fill the whole frame quite a few times. The switch from day imagery to nighttime imagery is smooth and seamless, and I am impressed by the high quality of the night images, especially as where I live is pitch dark; we have no lighting whatsoever, so the camera relies solely on its own lighting from 56 IR led's (they are no glow). In terms of the settings I have used, I tend to prefer using it on pre-set intervals (between 10 pm and 6 am), so that there are no sensor lights to give the game away while I am using it for covert CCTV - was more than enough to capture several days' worth of stills to examine when I came home. I was very pleasantly surprised by several things. Firstly, I was pleased that despite the rain coming down very hard in my absence, the camera was as dry as a bone inside. It was not left in a sheltered place; there was a tree stump on its side and I hid the camera in some grass on the stump. Secondly, I was extremely happy to see that it had captured very clearly a prowler on my land (set it to 12 MP), and the images were certainly clear enough to identify the man and the vehicle if I came across him again - as the memory card I bought was a 32GB and it was barely used at all by these stills. This camera is rated at IP65, which is a very good protection rating (the IP rating measures how waterproof, dustproof, etc). It still works after pouring rain, so it's good for me. The amount of information the camera gives is also good, including the ambient temperature which is useful for me as I live in an area where it can get extremely cold, and for insurance purposes, if I happened to have a problem in my absence, providing proof of the weather conditions could be useful for an insurance claim. Setting up this camera was easier than setting up the 'similar' ones. Inevitably, they are all made overseas and so the English is a bit awkward in the instructions, but NOT on this one. It was written in perfect English by their technical team, I think. But this one performed exactly as I hoped, and I didn't have any issues with capturing footage, receiving all the MMS messages on my T-Mobile phone or stills when I had hoped to. Some of the others are still guesswork and I still have no idea how to get exactly what I want on two of the other devices. Conclusion: CreativeXP won my competition and I'm purchasing 2 more units this week for my summer barn. *My friend borrowed for his deer feeder and look what I received on my phone, it's a deer party. Just Amazing product and highly recommend it!

Exhausted and Out $400+
I take reviews seriously and am not one to write a review unless I truly feel others could learn from my experience. I purchased this camera on October 18th 2019 as a Christmas gift for my husband, choosing this camera primarily due to the company being family owned with a return policy that exceeded the Amazon window knowing I it wouldn't be opened for a couple of months. On Christmas Day, my husband was thrilled and couldn't wait to set it up. Let's just say it was incredibly complicated to program; the instructions were hard to follow and it does not work with AT&T, etc. We watched YouTube videos to finally get it programmed and set-up. We then patiently waited for pictures. That night, all we received was a blur of gray and black and by morning the batteries were dead. We replaced the batteries and within a day the new batteries were dead too. I emailed customer service again and was told that a solar panel and rechargeable batteries (Panasonic brand) would do the trick and would also get us better night pictures. So...on December 28th we purchased their solar panel and the Panasonic rechargeable batteries which did not work either. The quality of the night picture (just got one) was just as bad and the batteries did not stay charged with the solar panel either. We tried every camera setting possible and each new thing we tried required a trip back out to the camera. We really wanted this camera and solar panel to work especially now that we were $400+ into the deal. There was nothing left to try. I emailed customer service on February 9th, 2020 through my Amazon portal inquiring about a return - they replied and told me in order to return them I would need to Google their business and look for their return information indicating they could not communicate with me through Amazon. I called several times for help and a return label with no luck. I boxed-up the solar panel and the camera together in one box along with all of the paperwork and returned them with tracking to their New York address listed on their website. The box was delivered; however, I did not hear anything. I emailed again through the portal asking about my return. I did not get a reply from them but instead I received a refund for the solar panel only but not one for the camera. I emailed again and was told that they did not receive my return and that I had used the wrong address; that the New York address on their website is their warehouse and no one is there. After several weeks of back and forth about the address and process, I was offered a replacement camera. I accepted the offer and let them know that any replacement would need to take good night pictures as this is when our deer are active. That was on April 7th, 2020 and I have not heard anything more as of today, May 24th, 2020, and at this point I am exhausted from the entire process and chalking the whole thing up to a poor purchase. We gave this camera every chance to work and we really wanted it to. If you are looking for night pictures or battery life of more than 1 day or a solar panel that works or SMS compatibility with AT&T or ease of set-up or programming remotely, you might want to do more research. Perhaps ours was just defective, we will never know. I wish this family the best and I believe they do want to do right by their customers, it just didn't workout for us.

Dead batteries, difficult to program.
It looked great coming out of the box. Initial instructions were easy to follow and I got it connected to sim card. Then it got more difficult.. programming with small buttons and a tiny screen. But still passable, though I never made it to entering my e mail address. I couldn't believe it it wasn't programmable by connecting to a computer. If it is, I didn't get that far. I never figured how I would connect to ATT, especially without going to a store. What good is their sim card if you need a contract anyway? Today, I messed with it a while and the screen went black. Messed some more and screen came up weakly saying batteries were low. The were brand new alkaline batteries less than 24 hours old. I know there are many good reviews for this item and I may not have been patient or smart enough to set it up, but I'm done with it and sent it back today. Oh, I couldn't get the battery cover off the camera (jammed on), so they're getting 4 free, probably dead, batteries. I had bought a Reolink camera which was much easier to set up. It would have been perfect except it was both too sensitive and not sensitive enough. Could see a spider web blowing in the wind, but not a car down the road. Also failed to get enough 4g signal from T Mobile at the remote location. It is OK in town. I don't like writing bad reviews. Maybe I just got a defective unit, or I am defective, but I couldn't make it happen. I wish the company and their customers well.
