Great for persistent funky cat breath AND poor drinking habits!
I admit it, I was skeptical of this product, but I was also desperate. My cat (who, as I have said in many other reviews, is an embarrassment to his species in terms of intelligence) has had bad breath for years because he doesn't chew dry food. Even those expensive treats meant to reduce plaque/odor go straight down the hatch, never touching a tooth. I eventually tried supplementing with wet food, which helped for a while before all sorts of oral bacteria got the memo and moved in, just making it worse. Did I mention that he's a Russian Blue mix and has those cute Siamese traits like licking EVERYTHING?So not only did the furry demon child smell like throat fungus, now so did my hands and everything in my house. "Tartar treats" didn't work. I wasn't going to brush his teeth, because I value my life. Dental Fresh was my last resort. Figuring it was worth a try, I decided to order a bottle and pray. After all, this cat grew up on stagnant rainwater; surely, at least he couldn't mind it much. The first thing I noticed was that his water was disappearing much more quickly than normal, as well as staying clean longer - no more scum and dirt in the bottom of the bowl. Cats have a notoriously low thirst drive, and he drinks so much more with the added Dental Fresh that I think the extra water is helping in and of itself. It did take a couple of weeks to get results on the odor front, but have a little patience. It's worth the wait. After almost three weeks, kitty's breath is back to a much more reasonable level, and he doesn't leave everything he licks smelling like death itself. Dental Fresh is now a staple in my house, and we're both happier for it. Thanks, SynergyLabs!

Show me those pearly whites!!
I have used this in all the cat water dishes for a few years now and periodically look at the cat's teeth. They all look pretty white and there does not seem to be any taste in the bowl as they all drink water from the fountain. I would say it's a good product.

Bye Bye Bad Breath
I'm (or my cats) are on their second bottle, and it has helped with their breath. Their teeth look whiter too. Like mentioned in another review, I wish the cap could be used for measurement for convenience.

Jury's Out...
I've only just received this product a few days ago, so I can't comment on if it'll actually clean my cat's teeth, or not, but I wanted to do a first impressions review. For starters, an 8 ounce bottle, is very small. To get a better idea, it's half the size of a 16 ounce bottle of drinking water. So, if you want to be able to use it regularly, it's going to get expensive. Secondly, they claim it's "flavorless", yeah, that's a lie, lol. Have you tried it? I try everything that I give them (except wet food), and this stuff tastes like hydrogen peroxide, or getting a little bit of extremely diluted, chlorinated pool water in your mouth. Mostly, peroxide. I actually feel like I spent almost $10 on a tiny bottle of peroxide. They recommend one teaspoon per every 8 ounces of water. This is the ratio that I taste tested, and like I said, it tastes like peroxide. Peroxide mixed in aloe water, is a better description, I think. If I were an animal, I wouldn't want to drink this. As a human, I would not like drinking this. That's risky business because you're either facing them not drinking water, not drinking enough water, or you're in a situation where you're having to put out multiple servings of water, some treated, some not, and just hoping they drink the treated water. In which case, why even bother, because no animal would willingly choose this, over plain, fresh water. I could see a decent amount of dogs falling for this, but cats are so finicky, I just doubt mine will get enough of this product, for it to be beneficial. We shall see. Again, this is just my initial impression.Update: I started adding the recommended teaspoon to more than 8 ounces of water, because I noticed my cats weren't drinking as much water as usual. Regardless, it began making my cats throw up, and they also suffered from diarrhea. All within a week of using this product. Long story short, it was a waste of money.
