SparkFoam39" Samurai Sword with Scabbard

This sword has been used with several fights and is holding up well.

I bought this sword with low expectations. I intended to use it for airsoft as a melee tool but was very surprised to find that not only was the scabbard well-built, but the sword "blade" itself was quite sturdy as well. While the blade DOES wobble a bit, it is surprisingly resilient against repeated heavy impacts (from when I'd engage in sword fights with other players). Moreover, the sword and scabbard click together and hold nice and snug, so the sword doesn't fall out accidentally when I'm moving. I have bought several more and all of them have performed well despite heavy abuse. They have lasted several months, and currently are all still fully functioning. Highly recommend for cosplay or even fun play-sparring.

Great looking product. I ordered this for my Ninjutsu school, for an upcoming demonstration, but this is so stunning, I am probably going to order more for my students. My only issues are that it is very light, and that where the blade meets the tsuba, it is just a little flimsy. I'm certain that I can fix both with a little effort. Other than that, still fantastic.

My son wanted a samurai sword, and as he's a child, that wasn't happening lol This sword withstood an 11 year old smacking everything and everyone in sight for WAY longer than any other sword we have gotten him. The ONLY reason it is being replaced, after almost two full years, the tip started to peel and split. I'm sure we could have prevented or fixed this with a little spray glue and a clear coat really. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to use it for cosplay, larping, display or just play!
