Outstanding adapter
The TwisPort system is a dream come true for WISPs since it allows them to buy high-quality antennas, minimize signal losses between antennas and the radios, and gives them a choice re: what radio they can use with their. antenna. Radio upgrades in the future are also easier - the release mechanism is solid.Inside, the mating surfaces are beautifully machined and effortlessly twist & lock the radio assembly into place. I mated my rocket Prism unit (RP-5AC-Gen2-US) to this adapter and everything went in as expected.The only slightly questionable aspect was the degree to which the GPS signal cable has to bend in order to accommodate the GPS antenna puck inside the head. I would have liked a bit more space in there. But it works, and having a cover over the sensor and cables should extend its lifetime and protect it from interference by wildlife.
