Glad I ordered this!
Not sure why so many negative reviews, but glad I took a chance and ordered these to try on for my own. My daughter loves hard boiled eggs but doesn't like the yolk so this thing is amazing to Boil egg whites. Texture is exactly as regular hard boiled eggs. I added some butter before I added the egg whites. When I gave them to daughter to eat she couldn't tell the difference, she loved them! Easier on us so we don't waste the egg yolk East to use as well just follow directions! Have not tried to boild a regular egg but I'm sure results will be the same. This saves so much time on peeling eggs too!

No more hard to peel hardboiled eggs!
LOVE these! I don't like hardboiled egg yokes, but LOVE the whites, so these lt me buy whites in a carton and make hardboiled eggs with just the whites. You DO need to use a spray of oil or something otherwise the eggs will stick but they do tell you to NOT forget that step. the top rings come off easily (and go back on) so you can more easily get the eggs out, I just give an easy squeeze. the lids screw on pretty easily, but don't put in water over the top or you WILL get water in the egg. I got these because it seemed no matter what I did and ho old my eggs were, I couldn't get them pealed cleanly. I don't worry about wasting expensive eggs with there.

Easier Than Shelling Hard Boiled Eggs
I found the Egglette cups easy to use prep and use for boiling eggs. Spraying the cups with cooking oil was my choice and then I used a small brush to spread the oil inside the cups. The pot I used was just large enough to float the cups as needed but I had to watch the boiling water carefully to avoid overtopping the pot. I hate when that happens. Makes me wonder if there isn’t a microwave solution. Recommended timing work fine cooking on my gas stove. The eggs turned out great. I snacked on the first HB egg and shredded the next into my dinner salad (chopped veggies, cucumbers, and diced tomatoes). More salads this week. I liked the experience of cooking HB eggs in the Egglette cups and will continue to use them so I’m not stuck with peeling hard boiled eggs traditionally.

No me gustó mucho porque se pegan los huevo, y son difíciles de lavar, y no tiene sentido echarle aceite, ya que para eso es mejor cocinarlos

Better way to cook eggs, I do not think so.
I am a great lover of 3 min eggs. But as expected, cooking for only 3 minutes it a shell issue. I thought these would be great but a couple of problems. For some reason, it takes 5-8 minutes when you place in boiling water. And then the eggs whites do not just fall off the cooker shell. So this was a bust and maybe for hard boiled eggs it might be better but for my desired use, I would not speed the money

Work great for egg whites
I was skeptical if these would work for what I wanted but they are near perfect. I am a vegetarian and eat a salad most days for lunch and since I can’t use traditional meat proteins to give my salad some substance I have been cooking some hard boiled eggs to add to it. It was a pain to peel the eggs everyday so I decided to try these. As directed, I sprayed the silicone holders with Pam and poured my egg whites in and boiled them for 15 minutes. I did leave them in the hot water for an extra 5 minted after I turned off the heat (no clue if this was necessary) and took the tops off and the whole egg white just popped right out. I haven’t tried a whole egg yet but if you are looking at these for egg whites, they work great.

Love them!!!
These are not necessary to most of the population who buys store eggs. The older the egg, the easier to peel. BUT... if you have farm fresh eggs you know what a B it is to peel hard boiled eggs, which I love. You're left with whites all stuck to the shell and a nice yolk with a wee bit of white, and that's after working on it meticulously. Enter Egglettes. I searched for a video on details. Must have spray or wipe on oil or butter. Most people boil for 15 minutes but I rather enjoy a rubbery egg so go for 19 minutes. My first pop out wasn't great, it was good, but a bit fell off. Soooo, by egg 2 I discovered the little plastic red ring you screw the cap on pops off! Yay! Slide a knife around the edge and without that ring in the way it pops out like a dream. Are they pretty? NO!! Are the easy and delicious? YES!!! So if you have fresh eggs and can't 'PEEL YOUR OWN EGGS' as stated by another reviewer, these are awesome. Also discovered through the video that the horrible smell associated with peeling eggs is either gone or greatly diminished. I couldn't tell because I have anosmia. But the hubby didn't notice I'd 'peeled' an egg and that usually sends him running. Lol

Mixed Results
Bought Egglettes brand. Giving 3 stars because the product is as represented, quality is fine, shipping was fast. But this product does not produce beautiful hardboiled eggs. The tops are flat so if you want nice oval halves for deviled eggs, nope. Secondly the texture of the eggs, while they will cook correctly if you follow the cooking time instructions, is not quite the same as cooked in the natural shell. Some people may not notice the difference but if you eat a lot of eggs, you likely will. Third, the boiling water must be just the perfect depth or the tops of the eggs will be runny when you un-mold them. Fourth, the little cups tend to fall over in the pan unless you wedge them in tightly or buy a bracket to hold them. And, last, even if you're okay with flat-topped eggs, the cups don't necessarily guarantee you a perfect result every time. Sometimes the egg comes out cleanly, sometimes not. I also found that by the time I sprayed the cups with oil, wiped out the excess, un-molded the cooked eggs (carefully!) and washed the cups afterward, it took more time than just cooking and peeling eggs the old-fashioned way. On a positive note, if you really struggle with peeling eggs and you're going to use the cups to make hardboiled eggs for recipes like salads where overall shape doesn't matter, the Egglets do work. And, you can do some other fun things with them, like mixing in cheese, crumbled bacon, etc., and making little cone-shaped appetizer omelets that will sit up-right on a plate.

Son muy prácticos y además permiten visualizar la cocción y volver al agua hirviente si necesario. Esta buenísimo. La limpieza es un poco delicada, pero vale la pena. Uso diariamente!
