Very good subsidiary attachment to enhance the base for Bose smart sound bar. Excellent design and good sound in terms of base in listening to music or dialogues. Bluetooth connectivity to the soundbar is also excellent while using the Bose app. and very simple to connect with the help of the app. to the soundbar. Since it small in size and compact it can be discretely placed away from sight or close to a corner.

Performance: Being an audiophile and technology enthusiast it just surpass my expectations everytime I watch movies. The product creates such an immersion that it may make you feel the earthquake if it’s on the video. It mostly produce high quality wave effect in movies which may make you feel inside the action. Size: Compact yet looks so sturdy. There is whole lot of design engineering done inside this compact box. Just watch deep unboxing or dissemble of this product and you would be amazed. PS: Bose products are meant for producing high quality original sound and you may be disappointed to hear normal level of bass from the product as compared to other brands which just product high bass unnecessarily but remember when this Bose subwoofer roars it will make you feel what it is to “feel the sound” than just to hear. Best use: Apple Music ALAC mode sound settings. Dolby Atmos movies. I don’t prefer Bluetooth for sound as it’s never meant to produce high quality sound.

This module completes the otherwise brilliant Bose soundbar 900. Soundbar has decent bass but its not enough to elevate the low frequency sounds(songs/dialogue). Adding bass module makes the soundstage complete. Bass is offloaded to the module and other sounds are taken care by soundbar. Bass module is really compact and lightweigh, but provides great bass that is enough make your windows shudder. Ensure to make bass on the soundbar at level 100 on the bose app. Then enable the bass module, and set speaker level of bass module to appropriate level. Wireless connection between sub and soundbar is seamless and takes 30 seconds. Overall bass module 500 is enough for a living room between 150-180 sqft size and packs quite a good punch!

Bass Module 500 Produces Classy & Thunderous Bass When Fine Tuned With The App! Out Of The Box, It’s Gonna Sound A Little Shallow. You Should Go To The App & Adjust Bass According To Your Preferences! My Advice Would Be To Reduce Bass On The Soundbar, Enable Dialogue Mode & Give The Work To The Bass Module! It Will Take Care Of The Rest! When Done, 500 Produces Such A Classy Bass That Will Make Each & Every Content More Dynamic & Powerful. Even If You Listen To This For Hours & Hours You Wouldn’t Get Tierd. It’s The Best Bass I Have Heard. Period. Be Very Mindful. 500 Is Enough For A Bedroom Or A Small Or Medium Sized Room. If You Have An Area More Than 250sq ft, Increase Bass From Soundbar Also. If You Have Bigger Areas, Better Go With 2 Bass Modules 500 Installed On Each Corner Or Get The 700 If You Are A Bass Freak! Bose Packaging Is Enough For The Product To Be Delivered Safely. I Still Wish Amazon Packs Up Over & Above That For Additional Safety. Overall, This Is The Best Investment You Can Make If You Have A Bose Soundbar Of Any Kind. Combine It With Surround Speakers & You Will Ask - ‘Why The Hell Should I Even Go To Theatres Anymore?’

Let me tell you my story. I had purchased Bose 900 Soundbar, I had regrets of not having that Bose feel. After six months, I bought the bose surround speakers. Regrets continued. Because I had invested almost 1.2lakhs and that feel was no where near. Then I again gathered the courage after reading the positive reviews about Bose bass module. Things have changed totally now. Now, I am really getting that cinema like sound. You will feel all the effects that you expect from a 1.6 lakh setup. All helicopter sound, that rope slapping you from left to right, that door knocking will confuse you for your own door :D … everything. I think the complete setup is mandatory then only the soundbar will deliver what it is designed for. In short: it is not just the bass module. It is part of the necessary setup to get the real feel.
