Was a gift for my sister for Christmas and she absolutely loved it very well. Made tea kettle when you wanna heat up water the old-fashioned way.!

The package was delivered near the front door as expected.This product is exactly what I needed — my husband has started to forget things, and I was worried about him leaving the stove on when heating water for his coffee.Thanks to this device, I feel much more at ease.It works perfectly and gives me peace of mind.Highly recommended for anyone in a similar situation. It’s a small investment for a big sense of safety.

just what i needed..made well..use it every day..well worth the cost

The kettle is okay. Not the most sturdy kettle and the stainless steel is quite thin.The issue I have is how it was packaged. The kettle's box had been opened, and it was semi-closed when I received it. The packaging it was in had also been opened and was very badly and loosely taped. The UPS driver carried it to me, and the box was very beaten up when he handed it to me. Not impressed by this one, both the seller and Amazon did a terrible job of making sure the item was delivered well.

We are tea drinkers. As Canadians relocated to the "suthren" U.S. we realized fairly quickly that a) nobody here has a kettle and 2) our electric kettle is not going to cut it when a big storm strikes and the power goes out. So, we searched for a stove top kettle that would do in a pinch. It is terrific. Lightweight, boils fast, whistles loudly so you don't miss it. Wipes clean. People say not to put it on a table or counter top b/c it'll scratch but your kettle should stay on the stove. Unlike the internet woman with the nuked water & sugar milk "tea," we know the water has to hit the bag "on the boil." This kettle will do the trick. Our only word of caution is that you'll need a towel, pot holder, or oven mitt b/c the handle does get hot. If you're making a cup at a time, you'll need to restart the kettle, but who does that? Make a pot, get a cozy, and enjoy.

After reading all the reviews here on Amazon, I decided this would be the perfect tea kettle for my nightly cup of tea. It's pretty looking and heats up just fine. However, just boiling precisely one cup of water was enough to leave the handle almost too hot to handle! And yes, I had the handle in the upright position, and each time I go to pour the water out, it burns my hand! I can't understand why none of the other reviewers mentioned this, as surely it can't be just mine. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $10 on something that won't burn you. Also, the whistle isn't very loud, so if you buy this, don't leave the kitchen while boiling water because you won't hear it in another room.
