The forces experienced on an accelerating, decelerating, and cornering ebike are significantly different than those we're accustomed to on traditional bikes. This saddle was built with that in mind.I have reining horses, and reining saddles, and immediately saw the conceptual similarity in the saddle; specifically the seat and the cantle, the rear swell. If you compare it with the stock saddle in my photo you can see what the designers at BMW Design Group have set out to accomplish.Control: that seat contact will increase your control together with your upper body. Top tier reining competitors can show their horses without using their hands or reins, merely by using that seat contact and communicating through their musculature. (I'm not that good. When I try to show off like that I have to cue my horses with the insides of my calves as well.) You won't be able to steer your bike with your butt cheeks but your ride will be more secure, particularly cornering.Acceleration: The rear rise in the saddle reduces that chance you'll get pushed back off the end of it.Stopping (deceleration): The saddle is coated with 3D SkinGel a tridimensional gel structure that reduces weight and is just a little bit "grippy" - holding you in.They have also built a "handle" into the saddle, a way to grip the saddle and move your bike around. I find this very handy and wish all saddles had it.Selle Royal has their own line of click-in under-saddle bags in various sizes. They're nice because of the ease of use.Saddles are a very subjective item and everybody has a favorite. I've tried many and this is my choice. Second choice but way back in the standings would be the Brooks Cambium, but they offer none of the ebike specific design the Selle Royal does so I'd just be buying the name.As a matter of fact, Selle Royal own Brooks which I learned while researching saddles.

I have been wanting to get a new saddle for a long time but also wonder if they are worth the premium price. After browsing almost all the saddles on this website, I have narrow down to selle royal raspiro or the ezone. Since I owned an electric bike, I decided to check out the ezone.Upon arrival, the ezone looks even better in person. The quality of the leather and gel cushion are better than expected. I believe that is only one version for ezone which is the moderate size.Once installed, I took it for a spin and immediately realize that I'm not occupied the whole area. My mistake. I angle the seat to level and try it again. Wow, it is so comfortable. I accelerate the throttle, the back of the raised lip holds my rear from sliding backward. The main design of the saddle.I would like to point out a few minor cons. The gel is not as think as compare to raspiro. However,it is still very comfortable. The egrip at the bottom of the saddle takes away 3/16 inch of the adjustment If you like to slide it all to front.All in all, I truly enjoy this new saddle and it is comfortable and looks great on my bike. I highly recommend it to anyone with electric or pedal assist bike. It changes my riding experience.

The seat looks pretty cool in person and actually on a bike. The strange appearance has upside as it does seem to push you up and into the seat as you accelerate. The handle is actually pretty useful and it seems solid so far.My one misgiving is that it does feel comfortable, to a fault. The sponginess actually feels like its coming loose (it definitely isn't. My 4 star review might actually be a little harsh as I'm still feeling this thing out.It's a great seat though, quality wise. You'll be happy if you pull the trigger on this saddle!

That’s so comfortable

It’s at best an ok seat but not for any length on a ride. I only paid 15 dollars used but excellent shape.

First ride with this new seat on my ebike. Rode 10 miles today, and halfway through the ride my butt started to get sore. 2 hours after the ride, my butt is still numb. I’m returning for a seat with more padding

I am a patrolman that is on a bicycle a lot in a day, especially on the weekends. The seats our department has are awful and since I am assigned my own bike, I decided to change the seat on mine. Before I got this, I did a lot of looking and this seemed to be the seat to try. Put it on the bike, used it for a few days and ended up with a lot of chafing in parts I would rather not mention. It is slightly more comfortable than the other seat, but the chafing is not good and therefore I am back to looking for a good seat. Oh well!
