Works well. Easy installation.
Good quality. Great instructional videos available that help people with basic knowledge to do this themselves.

Will do the job
Had installed by professional electrician. Haven’t had to use it yet except to test it. Very simple. Plug in the cord, flip the switches. Not affected by main power being off or on. Hardest thing was deciding which six circuits to wire to it. Running 9500w generator through it. Very well made.

Great Product and simple installation.
This transfer switch is just what I needed. I have two gas generators and a Goal Zero solar generator, I also have a 30 panel 11Kwh gound mount solar system. I didn't have any way except extension cords to keep critical appliances running in a power out. I have a 1600 sq.ft. mobile home with the main panel / breaker box on the outside, so I had to go through the wall to run from the transfer switch to the breakers, luckily behind the breaker box was a bedroom closet. I attached the transfer switch in the closet, ran the wires in conduit through the wall to a junction box outside next to the breaker box, then into the box. Wiring them to the breakers was very simple, I didn't use an electrician as I have done a lot of electrical work around the ranch over the years and was very confident doing this (at 81 years old = experience). I installed a NEMA L5-30P plug in a waterproof power box next to the breaker box and another L5-30P in the transfer switch, I made a short cable from the back of the L5 plug to attach to the transfer switch in an outage, I also made a cable with a NEMA L5-30R for the Goal Zero generator inside the closet. The whole thing actually took me about a week, making cables and an aluminum cover inside the closet for the incoming cable. I think the installation came out pretty nice and clean. See the pics.

Works perfectly
Set up generator back up for main panel. This secondary panel works and performs flawlessly. Well made easy to install with some basic electrical knowledge. Displays well laid out and easy to read. Satisfied with my purchase.

Does what it is supposed to do.
I purchased this transfer switch to have critical 120 volt circuits for when the power goes out. I can use either generator power or power from my solar battery bank to energize the circuits which is very handy during a power outage. I even run these 6 circuits on solar power when I have an excess coming in during the daytime sunshine hours to save a tad on electric bill. Since I have propane heat I can still stay warm during the winter if power goes out because it powers the blower fan on the unit. I don't have any 240-volt circuits hooked up to it so no ac, stove or dryer usage but that's not a big deal during a power outage. I can still watch tv, power lights, microwave food and have internet (Starlink) powered up as well as heat if I need it. Overall, very happy with the unit. If you are comfortable around the electric panel, it's a fairly easy install. Hardest part was just drilling holes for conduit. I still have to repair the drywall and paint but it's up and running. Yes, I would buy again in a heartbeat.

Works perfectly
Does not need to be weather proof since it is inside. Included directions are very clear in how it should be wired. Instructions match up with how wiring should be done. Very easy to wire, all attachments were included as described and worked perfectly. Wires very clearly marked and correctly sized. Good value and works very well when trialed. Illustrations on Amazon where exactly what was shipped.

Solid construction, smooth toggle swithces
Heavy duty construction, but looks ugly in laundry room where the sub-panel is. May blend in better if installed in garage. Toggle switches are also of heavy duty but smooth in operating. Installation takes time, yet straight-forward. It's better to study the installation procedures and plan ahead before start installing.
