Major improvement over stock pots.
Huge improvement over the stock pots in the Ibanez Gio MIKRO. No more static and noise, smooth action. Great curve toward the full open. No more intermittent and unintentional kill s itch action.

Works as advertised
I put these in my 1994 Jackson Dinky. I was rewiring the whole thing so I thought I might as well spend a few extra dollars and get top-of-the-line components throughout. I needed to enlarge the holes in the guitar slightly (to 10mm) for them to fit. The backs do take solder easily; I didn't have to prep/sand anywhere to get it to stick and used just a small dab of flux and got great connections. I notice they are completely sealed and do not have the normal holes in them where you can spray Deoxit to clean them, so hopefully they do work for a long time and don't get scratchy because it appears that there would be no way to get Deoxit into them. One measured 435k and the other measured at 471k so they were both a little bit below the 500k spec. The 435k one was a little bit scratchy when I put it in but after a little bit of use seems to have "broken in" and they both are noiseless now. I like the feel of these, they have a good amount of resistance and the taper seems very smooth and natural.

Well made and easy to install.
Needed a new volume pot for my custom build, and wanted it to be higher end. This did the trick. Very well made, turns smooth, fit perfectly, and easy to install.

It's a pot and it works
It's a pot and it works. Other reviewers have noted that the lugs are flimsy and they are, but I was careful when bending the one lug to the top of the pot and it didn't break on me. Also had no problem soldering to the other lugs. Also worth noting that the pot is slightly taller than a normal short shaft pot, so you may want to get matching pots.

100% Quality!
I've read articles where people say potentiometers don't affect a guitar's sound. I can say without hesitation those people obviously never tried these. I have an old Chinese made Ibanez Artcore Semi-Hollow body that I've loved playing for 15 years now, despite the tone being just a bit like a tin can. The guitar just feels good and looks great. A couple of months ago the neck pick-up volume pot broke off rendering the pick-up dead (out of the circuit). Being the guitar was old, I decided to put in the effort of changing all four pots and both tone capacitors. I could not be happier with these Jim Dunlops. The shaft on the Dunlops is a bit wider than the factory Ibanez pots, so I had to drill up the hole size just a touch (not really a big deal). The Dunlops are noticeably higher quality being larger and heavier than the factory pots. I also replaced the tone capacitors with a larger (but same value) unit. After changing out the pots and caps, I would put my Ibanez against any Gibson, Epiphone, Guild, or Gretch! The new pots and caps functions beautifully. And the added benefit of quality components is the sound has fattened up tremendously! These pots are the best $50 I've ever spent on a guitar! I love my Ibanez all over again!

This is it!
Hey, we have all been there. We want something a little better than the competitors. We aren't afraid to pay five bucks more if it delivers the results. They all say they are better, smoother, better connection, tone, secure, er whatever. And we have all been disappointed. We have all spent the extra money and didn't get the extra result. This one doesn't disappoint. This pot is better than the rest. It feels super smooth - smoother than any I have tried. It doesn't melt the back off of it when soldering the ground, (like other sealed pots.) It sounds clean at any position and great when sweeping. And, it lasts and doesn't need to be cleaned or serviced. If you want that special guitar to have the best - get this little guy.

Qualité au rendez vous , surface facile à souder si vous avez du fil contenant du plomb. Le potard est plutôt très ferme et la course distincte sur toute la course. Un petit coup de lime pour agrandir le perçage si vous avez des diamètres asiatiques.
