Good thermometer for a novice
Easy to use, easy to read, just the job for candle making, but could be used for jam making, soap making.

PERFECTTT
This candle thermometer is perfect! It has a wee clip so you can clip it onto your pot, jug ect. Stainless steel so it is really easy to clean. Has a coloured bit to show the perfect temp for wax and the pouring bit as well. Perfect for my candle company

Good but not scientifically accurate
This has been a very useful purchase but it totally depends on your needs as to how useful it can be. I use the product for candle-making and, as with any science, measurements need to be precise for the final product to be a success. I clip the thermometer to the jar in the attached picture and find that, when the metal temperature-bar is submerged a good 10cm or so, the reading is accurate. If the bar is only submerged 5-6cm (i.e. when I am only making a couple of candles) the measurements were not accurate as confirmed by my digital alternative. I can't take chances on wasting my other materials and need precision in all circumstances and as such, this isn't the product for me. Overall, useful for most things but if you need exact and to-the-degree measurements, either check with an alternative method or go digital.

Nicely presented temperature gauge
Easy and convenient to use. Well presented temperature gauge with coloured indication of temperature which is very useful when making my candles. An all round good product.
