Every child is different… just keep that in mind. My son is 8 and has been using this during his second grade year of homeschooling. He struggled to write since preschool. He COULD write but struggled. Handwriting Without Tears has changed everything this year! Something about this curriculum just “clicked” with him. He has been able to understand and utilize this handwriting program with ease. I’m so thankful for HWT!!

I use it for my daughter, she have autism.It's very easy for her tu use and she doesn't have any melt down doing the tracing.

The media could not be loaded. I love that this includes a guide for parents (or teachers), the practice book for the child, pencils, and a journal for additional practice! So many great tools for handwriting success.

Bummed about the pencils, but most of the reviews said that they were missing so I shouldn't have been surprised. So far, my 2nd grader seems to enjoy doing the lessons. They are simple enough for her to understand and she seems to have fun with it. We homeschool so we use this as another tool for learning to read/write.

My grandson had learned to write during the pandemic, and made his letters with the wrong strokes and was horribly messy. This is helping, and he doesn't mind doing it, so that's a win-win in my book!

This has helped my son so much! AND he loves doing it, which came as a huge surprise. I am beyond happy with our purchase and highly recommend if you are needing to help your child clean up there handwriting to become be structured.
