Longtime customer - almost perfect for my 8lb & 10lb fur babies!
When I saw that Amazon had a $20 off coupon for these I had to stock up and snag a few for my pups! Especially since it made them completely FREE! I absolutely love Walkee Paws!! I’ve been purchasing them for 2 years now and have been through it all. When they changed their designs, sizing, and prices! Usually these are $40 a pair, so getting them for free was a deal I couldn’t resist. (To be honest, these should be priced at $20 regularly, $40 is insane considering the owner admitted on Shark Tank that they only cost $4.40-$5.20 to make!) Walkee Paws said that there was a manufacturing error, but these are absolutely perfect for my pups. My fur babies are 10lb and 8lb respectively, they’re Shih Tzu/Maltese mixes and have petite paws. Previously, I purchased them Walkee Paws in size small since they were the smallest size available at the time. These XS Skinny ones fit them perfectly and when adjusted correctly, they can run/jump around without any of the leggings getting loose. With the size small ones, my girl would always get at least one leg loose! Not anymore though! :) It seems like Walkee Paws also updated their leg draw strings which is nice too. They’re much more sturdy and made of way better material than before. Everything works and looks premium now. My only complaint with Walkee Paws is that I wish the rubber bootie went up half of the leg and was thicker. I live in the Midwest where we get 6 months of cold weather, so winter is very long and then we get hit with tornado weather and heavy rain. In high snow, water can easily sink into the fabric material of the leggings and cause my pups’ feet to get cold and wet. And since the rubber is so thin, the booties are prone to holes. To mend this, Walkee Paws offers $5 patches, but I instead purchase a pack of 20 bicycle patches for under $5 and glue them to the inside of the booties where my pups’ nails and paw pads are. That seems to prolong the life of them. Overall, I’d rate Walkee Paws a solid product and a winter/rain staple. There are some flaws, specifically with snow, but I would much rather have my fur babies wear Walkee Paws for foot protection than have them wear them without. Their price is unfortunate, but when adjusted correctly, they will stay on your pup and work as intended.

Terrible harness design, bulky and time-consuming
We bought the upgraded version for our min-pin chihuahua mix. Save your money. The boot parts of thie upgraded item are pretty good, with a foot-shaped moded rubber. But the whole harness part is comprised of gathered fabric secured with plastic sliders, is terrible. There were many gathered fabric loops on top that had to be stuffed under his coat. Because the fabric could twist and turn, it was difficult to align the thing correctly. It was very annoying and took a lot of time to put on him. We ordered a very similar device from AliExpress for $5, and it was much better. The harness was made from 1-inch elastic with plastic sliders that were easily adjusted. It laid flat underneath his coat and stayed tight enough through his walk. The boot parts were a thinner plastic sleeve without any molded shape, but they were substantial enough, even with his long nails. Overall, the item was much better. I put socks on his feet and plan to get lambs wool (like they use in the toes of ballet shoes) to make the feet warmer. We live in Korea so idk if you can order from AliExpress in the US, but $5 vs $70... it's a no-brainer. If you can find any cheap Chinese knock-off, I suggest you try that before spending $70.

Great Idea but Boots Need Redesign
I tried these because I have been cycling through boots trying to find ones that fit, STAY ON, and are easy enough for me to get on and off my service dog. We live in a state that gets really hot and really cold in the midwest so I need something that protects in both. I tried the M first which was too big for my 40lb Husky mix that has fairly dainty paws. The S/M size fit much better. Positives: These are really easy to get on and off! I love that and the shoes are labelled R, L and two B’a for back feet. The adjustments are easy to make while staying snug. They seem like they would be very easy and quick to hand wash and hang dry. They definitely stayed on when having her walk, trot, Sit and Down as her feet were far enough in the ‘sock’ part and the boots were tall enough. I am not a fan of anything putting constant tension on my dog’s collar however so that was a very slight downside. You might not have to use that feature though; I didn’t thoroughly test it out because of my major negative reason: Negatives: the boots themselves were NOT designed to the shape of a paw flat on the ground. The ‘tread’ only covers their claws/toes and not the major pad (see picture - where my thumb is was where her major pad was on her back feet and the front when I checked). This makes the boots not effective when she was walking as, while the rubber was very flexible, the back of the boot will be in contact with the ground and ultimately I am pretty sure the wear and tear wouldn’t be good. They need to really look at the shape/anatomy and elongation of dog feet and redesign them to that. The boots are also very thin rubber with a very thin cloth lining inside the boot. It wouldn’t do much to protect from extreme weather for an extended time and I have had boots that had thicker materials/liners like GooEez brand (which is the best option I have found so far). Overall, these are great if your dog’s paws are a very round circle shape when stepping on the floor and you want to use them for rain or maybe light snow/heat for short outings. Not what I would recommend for a dog like a service dog that has extended outings with their handlers, in extreme weather, or if your dogs paws are the average teardrop/spade shape when actually walking/stepping. I’m going to try Canada Pooch when the size I am guessing she needs is back in stock as they seem to be somewhat better in design visually.

Bavarian Bliss for My Pup's Paws
Let me tell you, these dog boots are the talk of the town! My 12-year-old Pom Shih Tzu mix has been strutting his stuff in the first version for years, and when they finally retired, we upgraded to these lederhosen-held wonders. First off, the craftsmanship on these boots is like a German engineering masterpiece for doggy footwear. The lederhosen straps give them that extra flair that makes my pup look like he's ready to hit the Oktoberfest runway. Who knew dog fashion could be this stylish? Now, I must admit, the boot part does carry a bit more weight. It's like my furball went from walking on clouds to walking with the weight of a thousand schnitzels on his paws. Initially, he had a look of sheer disbelief, as if he was questioning whether he was being punished for a doggy misdemeanor. His gait resembled a dramatic march to the gallows, complete with a mournful expression. But here's the twist - after a few days, my old boy adjusted like a seasoned yodeler hitting the high notes. The boots not only protected his paws from the treacherous elements, but they also turned him into the canine celebrity of our neighborhood. People stopped us on walks just to admire his stylish lederhosen boots! Sure, my dog may have traded a bit of comfort for canine couture, but seeing him prance around like a four-legged Bavarian superstar is worth every ounce of extra weight. These boots have not only saved his paws but have elevated his street cred to legendary status. In summary, if you want your dog to be the talk of the town and the fashionista of the dog park, these lederhosen-held boots are the way to go. Prost to happy paws and stylish struts!

So Easy! So glad I tried these!
Updated review: S/M is perfect for my pup! She walks, runs and jumps around in them with ease. M worked too but just a little too big for her paws. Keeping both sets as previously stated. Still very very happy with this product! S/M came without the velcro straps for the back boots. Not sure if that was just my order or if they do not come with velcro but for me it is needed. Added another set to the front boots too. Original review: I love these boots - easy to put on and take off quickly, and my dog accepted them easily. It took me a few wears to get the straps sized perfectly for her but now we are good to go. I would say these are true to size to slightly roomy for dogs will little back paws. I ordered a medium and reordered the s/m to see if the actual boot fit her paws a little better. My pup is not furry. She is a 30lb pit bull, chihuahua mix and getting boots of any kind to fit her correctly is challenging. Still going to keep the medium regardless so I have a pair to use if we have an injured paw or anything like that in the future.

Won't stay on front paws
The boot part was great. The rest is so slippery and stretchy he runs out of the front boots constantly. A velcro strap on the front boots may fix this.

Must have for rainy climates.
We live in Singapore, where thunderstorms are very common, and monsoon season means it rains every single day, sometimes for the whole day. Our younger dog refuses to use a pee tray and must be walked twice a day, which is a problem because his very fluffy paws are like sponges and soak up water and mud very quickly and easily. Walkee Paws were actually suggested by my friend as a joke, but I bought them and they worked, but then they died (the socks, not my friend), so I bought another set. My first set was their earlier iteration, and other than a couple of changes to their design, the material used for the rubber portion is also different, so while it feels like this set would be more durable, I don't know for sure if they will be. I'd bought two of the earlier version, and after some time, the rubber started to melt and the other one just somehow split, even though it wasn't really being used. Even though that happened, I was still willing to buy another set because they worked really well when they were still usable, and wear and tear is natural, and it did take over a year or so before they finally died. Other than the fact that they look a little dorky and people do tend to react with a lot of amusement when they see my dog in them, there aren't any other cons to these. They keep my dog's paws dry and clean, and they STAY ON. They're easy to put on because they're slightly loose, so your dog's paws should slip right in. There is a slight bit of a learning curve where you need to figure out just how tight to adjust them so your dog can't high step out of them, but it's not so tight that they have problems walking. The new design of the rubber portion has little raised dots for friction (they look like goosebumps), which might be problematic for people with trypophobia. They are very essential though; the old design with smooth rubber meant that if my dog was walking at full speed over a metal grating, he will slip. With the friction bumps, he doesn't. The rubber also does feel thicker than the earlier version, so let's hope it's more hardy. There's also now a little heart-shaped clip that rests on the small of their back, so that the rear socks don't pull diagonally towards the middle of their back, which helps everything sit nicely and shift less, and you won't have to pull the socks as tightly to keep it all secure. I've tried a lot of different dog socks, shoes, and booties to keep my dog's paws clean and dry. Most of them just slip off or aren't as waterproof. These work, and even though they're quite pricey, they're worth not having to wash and blow dry his paws after a rainy day walk.

Wanted to love the product....
I have a 60lb pitbull terrier mix. Medium sized dog, skinny long legs. I had first gotten the S/M. It was perfect on my dog's paws but too tight on her body. So I got the M size. Paws were too big & the legging part doesn't come up high enough. She walks around & it continuously keeps falling off the front paws. Love the idea, but unfortunately the product sucks. I really wanted to love the product. Wish the leggings would come up higher all the way around her leg, so they don't fall off. Not as easy to put on either with my dog's dewclaw. Going to get the CP brand instead. About the same price & leggings come up higher than walkee paws brand. I do NOT recommend this product brand if your dog has long legs & a big body.
