Perfect fit 02 Legacy 2.5L
10-15 minute install on a 2002 Subaru legacy with a 2.5L, took photo to compare that the product is slightly different but works great fixed overheating issue of the old one staying stuck closed and heat is great

OEM quality thermostat
Aisin is an OEM parts supplier for Subaru. If you’re replacing your radiator, timing belt or head gaskets, might as well swap in a new thermostat.

It fits my 2009 subaru outback and it doesn't overheat anymore

Works great in a 2005 Outback 2.5i
Fixed my thermostat on a 2005 Outback 2.5i. I was a bit worried because it said 80 deg C on it and I thought the original one was rated at 70 Deg C, but I was wrong.. The original one was 78 deg C. 4 degrees isn't that much. It was a straight swap without issues. After refilling and burping the cooling system, my cooling system is happy again.
