Update 7/7/22: I need to add this to my review the drone itself does have some issue that the blades are exposed and I will leave that in. However the company that sells these drones 100% stands behind their products and goes above and beyond to make it right. I first wrote this review a while ago and the company reached out to me directly to address the issue, and I looked into replacing just the blades at first but the cost of a few sets I actually ended up purchasing another drone at the time. This company replaced the damage drone anyway with a replacement and were incredibly nice about it making it a great experience. Companies that get it that parents buy these things for their kids and that they can take some damage but are right there to make it right. I can’t say enough great things about them. Changed my review to five stars. If your considering this drone go ahead and pick one up they are great for beginners and the company stands behind them. A recommendation to the company maybe just add a few more replacement propeller sets with the drone, other than that thank you so much. Original Review: I have to say this first off, it’s a great drone for beginners. Easy to learn to operate, small enough to fly in the house and it does some really cool tricks. My 10 year old got it for Christmas and absolutely loves it. He likes it so much that he flew it a lot and busted some of the propellers. It has spares but since there isn’t any protection for them and he is young and flies it in the house sometimes it hits a wall the wrong way or drops down and they can break. Unfortunately he broke two of the B propellers. It comes with 4 (2) As and (2) Bs if you don’t have a spare A or B and try to other one the orientation is off and it won’t fly correctly. I have been trying to find the propellers just to buy a bunch but haven’t seen them. Was hoping the company might see this review and clue me in on how to get more. All in all even if I am not able to find the propellers I would actually buy this product again. It’s a great drone and since my kid likes it so much I might just end up buying another if I am not able to find the propellers on their own just to replace it.

Update: sadly it stopped working today. It shut off and won’t turn back on. It was a fun toy while it lasted (5 days). I bought this for my 9 year old and she absolutely loves it. I was skeptical because it wasn’t very expensive and buying online is always risky but it’s actually great. My only complaint is that the battery only lasts a few min before it stops working. Not sure if this is Just how they are or if we have a bad battery but it only lasts 3 min before we have to charge it. We have only been flying it in the house because I’m afraid the battery will run out and we will loose it outside. Overall I’m happy with my purchase 😁

I bought this drone a year ago for Christmas but my daughter didn’t open the box to use it until this Christmas! we got a lot of use out of it for 2 days but then it stopped working. We replaced the propeller that seemed to be having an issue, they all still rotate, but the drone no longer takes off. Such a bummer. This drone seemed pretty sturdy. There must be something that we can’t access that’s made it unusable. Pros: -the colors are awesome -Good control with the remote - comes with 2 batteries so you can still play with one while the other charges.

Kids love them

We bought our daughter the Force 1 Scoot hand operated drone for her birthday on May 9th. She loved it and it performed well. Unfortunately, she is 8 and didn’t realize she could not use the drone outdoors. As soon as it went up it went really high and the wind caught it and we lost it somewhere in the woods. Because she enjoyed that drone for the short time she had it and wanted to fly one outside we purchased the Force 1 UFO 4000 mini drone. She was excited to have better control of the drone outside. Unfortunately the battery life is less than 5 minutes and she barely has time to get it going before it falls to the ground without power. I am hoping we can return it and purchase a new hand operated drone even though she really wanted to use it outdoors. I would not recommend this drone due to the poor battery life.

This is a great drone for beginners., which is what my daughter and I are. I bought this for my 8 yr old daughter for Christmas and right out the box she loved it! Once we read over the instructions and gave it a try, we both were hooked. It was easy to learn to fly and my daughter had no trouble flying it (did better than me). The propellers are inside a protective rubber surrounding that actual works if flown inside. Its of good quality and sturdy and its not too bulky like other drones I seen while shopping for this one. The lights are bright and pretty AWESOME at night. It worked right out of the box and It is really a good drone for any age (I'm buying me one with different LED color lights). However, with all the good things I mentioned above, I only gave it 3 stars and not 5 because after only a day and a half of flying, the next morning my daughter went to fly it and one of the motors was not working. I went to the sellers website, checked out the troubleshooting suggestions and did what was suggested (lubricate the motor) and it still does not work. I emailed the seller to let them know, but have yet to get are response. Great drone. Still wanted to give it 4 stars and will probably get another one, but will not go through the hassle of sending this one back and replacing it. I feel that it should be able to last more than the short time it did last which wasn't much considering you only get around 5-10 minutes of flying time (good thing it comes with two batteries). This is why the 3-star rating.

Drone deserves the ratings it has. Flies easily and as expected out of the box. The lights are nice and make it interesting for anyone watching it fly. Two batteries are nice to charge one as you fly the other. Minimizes down time between charges. Battery plug is a little small but you will get the hang of it quickly. Operationally, it delivers as expected. Trim controls work easily and the speed and direction modulation of the controller to drone operate very well. I recommend this product to anyone. PLEASE NOTE: Above the product reviews, the company stands behind this drone. In learning to fly this, my daughter broke 3 propellers. I contacted the company via e mail and they replied quickly and sent me a new set of propellers for free to replace the replacements that comes with the kit. I was intending to buy them. They also said to contact them for any further service in the future. The mark of quality is customer satisfaction and this is tested when things go wrong and you are in need. I really love the agility of this thing! And the fact that this is one of the most popular mini drone’s isn’t a mistake. Controller also feels nice in the hand and it’s definitely one of my favorite drones out of the15 mini drones that I own.
