Rio Brands ASC529 4-Position Backpack Lace-Up Suspension Folding Beach Chair

I read a lot of Amazon reviews before making purchases. I wasn't 100% sure about these chairs, but have no regrets now that we've used them several times. They look incredibly well-made, are fairly light, easy to carry (my husband bungees them together and carries both at once), and are sooo comfortable. Husband is a tall man, 210-230 pounds, and he loves the chair and feels completely secure in it. I'm comparatively short, and the chair also fits me well. Plus the pouch on the back is handy in many situations! The only real negative is the cup holder is a bit flimsy. It works perfectly fine for most purposes, but can kind of lean to the side because it isn't very stiff. For example, we were on a hill watching fireworks and I had to catch my drink before it spilled over the edge. A very minor issue, but something to be aware of if you expect 5 star cupholder service.

We used these for a week in Florida and loved them! They are lightweight but sturdy, are very comfortable, and fold/unfold easily. The backpack straps are essential, because we are always carrying several other things to and from the beach. The cup holders are great, and the zipper on the side allows the cup holder size to grow or shrink to accommodate almost any can, cup, or bottle. I saw a few other people at the beach with this exact same chair.

As described. Very good quality and in fact still have the chair. Just upgraded this Summer. Highly recommend!!!! Sat chair in the water a lot and he’ll up very well. Definitely would recommend

When I opened the box my 1st thought, great I'm not going to be strong enough to pull out the chair. To my surprise was easy. Sometimes items are packed so snug its frustrating to the point you question yourself is it worth the aggrevation, you know ordering online. I'm happy :) . Then 2nd step was quick and painless, a quick snip w/ scissors and the plastic wrap came off easily. The chair was light as described. The striped beach pattern I loved the colors were bold & bright. Was easy to open a little hard to close. You do have to turn chair upside down & squeeze the bottom bars for the chair to close all the way. Which is necessary to be able to use shoulder strap. I loved the chair except for the chair does not go back completely. This chair stops 3/4 of the way. So I am returning it. Those who like to sit up at a 3/4 of an angle will love the chair. The 3 positions are good. Light weight so won't hurt your shoulders even if you have to walk a distance. Well built and very sturdy.

This low-rider beach chair is just the ticket for a day on the sand. Padded, backpack-style straps and a click-it strap to keep the chair folded closed ensure it’s easy to transport on & off the sand, lightweight but sturdy construction keeps you from feeling like a Sherpa lugging it on the beach and the chair is sturdy and comfortable while you are lounging in the chair. The pocket on back is super convenient for stowing birds and pieces from scavenging seagulls and the Velcro attached pillow is a nice add-on. Note: You do need to make sure the chair is completely reclined and give the legs a solid tug to colapse the chair when you are ready to call it a day. If you are too dainty to give it a strong enough tug, you may find it a bit frustrating to collapse the chair. This is not an Incredible Hulk situation but be prepared to put a smidgeon of effort into drawing the legs together. It will work out fine once you get the hang of it.

We have a winter home in South Beach, a few blocks in from the beach, just far enough from the tourist strip. We walk to the beach and this chair is comfortable lightweignt aluminum with a very strong canvas like fabric that breathes, and a secure pouch on the back for towels, drinks, books etc. We bought the identical chairs about 5 years ago and after an abusive life retired them to save for when guests come. In terms of comfort, the back and seat have lacing that can be adjusted for firm or slightly baggy to your taste, the headrest is on velcro so you can adjust it to fit your neck and you can adjust the recline. Unlike some chairs the bottom of your leg doesn't lie heavily on the frame. The armrest is wide enough to be comfortable and has a drink holder. For carrying, the backstrap is adjustable so you can find a height that is comfortable. They stow easily in the trunk for farther outings. If you don't want to lie on a towel in the sand or drag coolers and loose items to the Beach this is a very good solution. PS We just bought another two of the current model. The chair is even better with a light but strong fabric that breathes a little and improved Velcro for the headrests.

These are Great Chairs. I have a Villa management company in the US Virgin Islands and purchase approximately 80 of these chairs every year. They get very high usage in a very harsh environment. Salt, Sand and very high UV index. It has been extremely noted that the colors that have white webbing straps on them do not work well in the harsh Caribbean sun and the straps disintegrate do to the sun here. It has been noted that the Navy color that comes with black straps hold up well in the sun. So It would be my recommendation to the manufacture to use the black straps on all colors.

I was at the max weight limit of 245 lbs and it held itself together for years as i used it daily as my gaming chair. comfortable lounging positions. sits low to the ground so keep that in mind if you dont like that. you can almost fully recline at the farthest setting

The chair is very comfortable, easy to carry and the pouch on the back means you can go to the beach without an extra bag if you travel light or walk. The only problem was that on one of the bags the clasp that holds the chair shut when folded failed to work on the very first day of use - it simply didn't hold it closed. Still happy with the chair, but thought that was worth mentioning (it would have scored 5 stars if not for that).

Got the summer beach Cabana perfectly and are extremely good quality. One of them got bent in the wind, but that was a huge storm and the chairs were stored on the beach between logs. Even after a full summer of use and being down on the beach, they are in terrific condition. Withstood massive high winds, salt air, sand, and salt water (we sat in the waves with them). Love the colour. Very lightweight. Sturdy and holds up to larger adults.

We love our chairs. We pack everything we need for the beach in the back of the chairs. Put them on like a back pack and off we go to the beach, hands free. They are comfortable and we like that they have different positions to recline. I highly recommend these chairs.
