I've used frontline monthly for years. No problems. It doesn't work if your animals have a infestation they would need to see a vet but it does control fleas before it gets to that stage. My cat has never had a allergy to it and doesn't seem bothered by it once it's on. Good hoovering, washing bedding and brushing animals outside along side this product keeps fleas at bay.

Need multiple times to be effective

Not the cheapest but always the best in my opinion, works everytime. And doesn't disturb the cat as it discreetly goes on the back of her neck ,I always use this because any of the spray ones scare her .

I have been treating my cats with this for over a year. Last September they had what seemed to be a particularly bad infestation of fleas. I carried on treating them with Frontline plus every month as instructed and also used insecticide to kill any fleas in my house and on bedding etc. I know it can take up to three months to get rid of fleas once they have a hold so I was not too surprised when I was still being bitten and the cats were still scratching at Christmas. However, in January I discovered some bald patches which had appeared on one of the cats' skin. I took her to the vets who said it was a bad case of fleas. She asked what I had been using and when I told her Frontline she said that it doesn't work any more and that they should not be allowed to produce it and advertise it as effective. Within two days of her prescribing a different treatment my cats were like new animals. They were playing and darting about much more than usual and the scratching had almost completely stopped. The poor things have had to put up with fleas for several months because I used this product. I will NEVER be using it again.

Works well and did not cause our cat irritation. Has enough of a scent to discourage the cat from licking it but not unpleasant. Easy to apply and safe to use. Noticeable reduction in fleas on our cat. The pipettes contain an adequate amount of liquidn, which was nice because some of the other brands seem to have very small sized pipettes.

A feral cat comes to my door for food and he had a tick near his eye, so whilst he was eating i managed to stand over him and drip the treatment on his neck, the tick was gone the following day.
