Atkins for Life
This book is recommended for when you have lost the weight that you wanted to loose on the Atkins diet. It is really a maintenance program. Showing you how to keep the weight off and stay healthy with a permanent low carb diet. The recipes not being as low in carbs as those in the actual diet books and so the recommendations and recipes in this book probably won't help you to loose weight, but it's brilliant for the low carb way of life. Would recommend.

Atkins overload
The initial Atkins book is really all you need and this is just a money spinning extra. Although Atkins works (despite the bad press it gets everywhere), the books lose purpose around week 4 of the plan. You do need to read the initial Atkins diet revolution book from cover to cover before doing Atkins (those that don't provide the bad press through total ignorance) but this book only really repeats things in a different order. It has a few motivational case studies and some good recepies. However, still written totally with a US audience in mind and so the recepies can be difficult to understand due to measurements and names of food. If you are thinking of doing Atkins then buy the diet revolution book first. I should point out that Atkins works but like all weight loss programmes...it still requires dedication and buying this book won't make you thin alone!!!

Good addition
Good addition to other low carb books especially atkins! Makes you think more about your way of eating and helps put it all together also helps you keep it together!
