Amazing mic
I have two of these since about an year and completely love them.. they are used for the home and are our primary vocal mic.. The performance would be at par with much more expensive mic's and will hold their own pretty much everywhere. On a value perspective, I got a really sweet deal and for that price it undercuts its rivals like the SM55 and the Sennheiser 835 so they are definitely amazing value.On sound, I would say, a 8 out of 10.. it can do whatever u ask you to do but sometimes I feel the lows could be a little better, especially when recording, it shouldnt be a major issue, just a small gripe. Mids and highs are amazingPlus its built very well, feels good in the hand, heavy but not so much that you would feel uncomfortable.If you are looking for a new vocal mic, I would say "go for it".. it's an amazing mic for serious amatuer vocalists...if you want something casual, probably spending so much isnt a good idea so its good value for money as long as you tend to use them

Nice purchase. 70Hz Roll off helps us sound better before EQuing
I am very satisfied with the Output. The 70Hz low end Roll off helps vocalists sound better before EQuing as compared to Shure SM 58. I love both the mics but I will go with D5S because of this feature and its supreme build quality.I am also using a windcutter to omit extra pops. I am already using AKG P420 and D5s makes an amazing addition to my gears. Really loving the output.

Great microphone
Have been using it for years now, it's a great product and built to last. I prefer it over Shure SM58 (personal choice). Picked two of them.

Only voice no background noise
I am a voice artist and have a studio setup at home I was searching for a mic which grabs minimum background notice as my house is located on main road I have used many mics but This mic clearly is a winner as it grabs only the voice and neglects the noise around. I am really very happy with my purchase.

AKG Dynamic Mic
I am using this dynamic mic for live singing on smule. Mic is very effective in vocals. Very good finishing metalic body. Worth to buy.

Love it!!
My boyfriend loves the gift!! He is a beatboxer and the mic captures every sound perfectly!! This is one of the best choices for beginners in terms of beatboxing. I did my research and it turner out to be as good as the reviews. The audio quality is drastically better in comparison to normal mics
