A friend recommended this McCormick Lemon ’N Herb seasoning after I tried their lemon-butter salmon on the grill—heavenly! I agree with the product description: it’s full of natural lemony zest and herbs that elevate any dish. It’s fantastic on fish and chicken, and I even sprinkle it into tuna salad and sausage pasta sauce. A versatile, flavorful blend that’s also a great value since the container will last a long time. Highly recommend for adding a fresh citrus kick to recipes.

Locally I can buy lots of lemon/pepper spice mixes, but I'm not much of a pepper fan. I use this blend on salads along with olive oil instead of over-processed salad dressings, on fish or virtually anything else I would put a lemon/pepper mix on but want to control the overpowering pepper flavor. I kept the smaller shaker I emptied and use this large one to refill that one so I can keep it next to the stove.

There are plenty of spices in this mix, but I found it to be flat. Nothing popped “fresh” like you’d expect for guacamole. And the SALT! OMG - salt is the dominant flavor with this mix. Adding fresh cilantro and fresh-squeezed lime juice helps, but even with those fresh ingredients the salt taste is almost overpowering. Probably wouldn’t buy again.
