Life-changing for me!
This has been an incredible, life-changing device for me. I have a stressful job; but who doesn’t? This device puts me to sleep almost instantly, and I wake up with it still on my chest, so I know I have remained in the same position all night. I’ve also found deep relaxation from just one 20-min session when I’ve used it on breaks at work. It acts as a total reset, and my heart rate drops to a very relaxed 53 beats per min! I did have some problems getting it to connect, but customer service was the best I’ve ever experienced, and I got it connected! I do recommend this to others. It’s cheaper in the long run, and healthier, than other ways people “medicate” their anxiety with a glass of wine, eating to excess, etc. If you purchase it on Amazon, you have nothing to lose if it doesn’t help you; just return during the return window. I’m not returning mine, though!

One tool for your toolbox
I got the Sensate to use along side other techniques I've been learning to reduce my anxiety and the frequency and intensity of my panic attacks. I've been using it regularly for two weeks, and it's too soon to know if it's working in that regard. However, I find it to be a great aid in meditation. It helps me tune out external distractions and shift my focus away from my thoughts to being present in my body. I find the vibrating sensation to be very pleasant and relaxing. The Sensate device and application are both intuitive and easy to use. The application is fairly basic. You select which track and the duration you want and hit play. You can also use the app to schedule reminders for your sessions. The app could benefit from some additional features -- like a log of what sessions you did and when and a journal to write down your reflections at the time. The music/sound tracks they provide are really well-produced and available in different durations (10, 20 or 30 minites). The price for the device is quite high. Whether it's worth it is completely subjective. I personally don't regret spending the money. On top of the cost of the device you have the option to subscribe within the app to open additional features (mostly a wider range of tracks that update monthly) at the current price of $50 annually. That seems a little steep given the high upfront cost, but I have been enjoying a number of tracks that would otherwise have been unavailable. Sensate has worked well so far, I have had no problems, and I'm happy with the purchase. For me, it's another great tool in my toolbox for dealing with chronic anxiety.

One of my favorite tools
This has helped me and my family more times than I can count. Many times when we were on the verge of thinking about going to the ER. Helped bring heart rate down. Calm the autonomic nervous system. Calm anxiety. Improve blurry vision when my nervous system is sympathetic. I’ve worn it to bed and at work. Whenever my nervous system is in fight or flight.

Don’t waste your money
I was excited to try this device. Packaging ok. Device cheap plastic but didn’t care as long as it worked. It didn’t. Device would not pair with my phone and it won’t work unless you use with their app. No app no function. Just an expensive paperweight I tried turning Bluetooth off and on. Device off and on. Restarted app. Everything. It never showed up in Bluetooth to pair it. The ironic part is that in the instructions it says that you don’t have to do anything-just open app and turn on device. Big fail When you spend $350 on a device that you can only use with makers app and it won’t even pair- unacceptable. And after reading all the reviews from others with similar experience- that means only a percentage of the product works. Honestly it’s not worth $350. In a video product review the woman said it was $250 and she didn’t think it was worth that. I agree 100%. This product should be no more than $50 to $100. Don’t waste your money

Best little device
I bought this nearly a year ago and have used it twice a day, most days, since then. It’s kinda wild how helpful it is. The days I don’t use it I find myself more anxious and harried. It is pricey, but it’s been worth it. Pros: It’s a game changer and lets me get into a meditative state really quickly. It’s instantly calming and the benefits last all day. It’s lightweight and looks like a smooth pebble. It feels a bit like when you’re singing - that deep resonating vibration that quiets the nervous system. Cons: It is noisy sometimes - kind of a rattling noise. It’s better if you set a blanket over it. It’s been pretty durable - I’ve hauled it around the country and even dropped it once - and it’s still working. Also, you get access to a handful of sessions just by buying the device, but if you want access to the full (and growing) library of sessions you’ll have to subscribe. Final complaint, the on switch glows this bright annoying light, which is not ideal for meditating. I just pull a blanket over it. But, at least for me, those cons are trivial compared to the benefits.

An interesting product held back by several technical issues and cost
As a small business owner, I have an incredibly stressful career, so I'm no stranger to stress and anxiety. However, I purchased this product based on some reviews I've read about vagus nerve stimulation, and this product came up as a product that could help. On to the actual review - Does this product work? Sort of. The device connects to the Bluetooth on your phone using a proprietary app and then syncs vibrations to a select number of binaural soundtracks based on your session goals. The music is OK, with a few suffering from terrible audio compression. I use a Samsung Z fold 4, and the Bluetooth connection is challenging. (It does after timing the button presses on the device) I've also had several times where the app says the device isn't connected, but it is. For a device designed to counter stress, adding a lot of pressure to the actual execution of the meditation is counterproductive. Assuming all the cosmos are aligned properly, and the device starts to work, it does a very effective job at the whole relaxation bit. I feel calmer than when I started, and after using it for several days, I've noticed an improvement in my mood. While it's nice that it has some appreciable benefits for me, the high cost of entry stacked with severe technical issues kind of ruined my desire to keep the product. Should they resolve these issues and come in at a price point at about 25% of the current asking price (and upgrade to USB-C like the rest of the world) then I could definitely see this product being a game changer.

Another option in this headspace
Right off the bat, the vibrations in this device make my head tingle, and my upper arms feel a "glow". I haven't had it long enough to see long term results, but I don't think it will replace what I use for meditating. This would be a nicer device if it were heavier. The weight is wrong for the visual size. Other than that, the build is attractive. The minuses: this may be the only device I have that doesn't use a Type C connector. That means that of the 50 charging cables I have around my place, this one has to be guarded. Secondly..the "music" is uniformly awful. I've found a couple of tracks that are simply nature sounds, but the rest are too piano-heavy or overwhelming, badly melodic. The Calm app has a whole series of rain, waves, grasses, - non-melodic sounds that would be far superior to these sounds, especially if meditation is an expected outcome. I find that I turn the sound all the way to minimum and the vibration to maximum, and even then the sound is intrusive. I bought the Premium package - lets hope there are better selections in the future. No issues with connectivity or performance, and this will be easy to travel with.
