Due to the fact that I did not have to improvise with various objects from around the house, the accompanying tools made the task appear to be manageable for someone who is just starting out. Due to the fact that the screws on the 12 mini are quite little and harsh, it was more important than I had anticipated to have the appropriate driver and a method to keep everything organized. My movements were gradual; I followed a step-by-step tutorial, and I made sure to verify my work many times before I closed everything back up. The battery itself sat down without any resistance, and the phone started up immediately, which was the moment that I was the most anxious about. Immediately after it was operational, I used the phone in the same manner that I generally do for a few charge cycles so that it could become accustomed to its routine. The distinction was immediately noticeable from the very first full day. During routine activities like surfing the web, using GPS, and watching brief video clips, the percentage of the battery ceased declining freely. The phone also had a more regular feel to it: rather than dripping a significant amount of charge in the first hour and then crawling, it drained in a more steady and predictable manner that was consistent with what I recalled from when the phone was newer.

Easy to install useful and decent tools come with the battery. I use instructions off the internet and utube. I Fixit is a great resource. However, just recently became puffy and popped out the screen to my daughter’s iPhone 7. I would recommend spending some extra and buying from a reputable brand. I have never had that happen to any off the batteries I have replaced but I’ve heard that can happen. I would not recommend this battery.

I came across my old iPhone 5S and remembered the battery was completely dead and ended up just buying a new one rather than just replacing the battery. I bought this battery and not only did it bring my phone back but I was able to do this myself. The instructions were really easy to follow along, as you can see in the pictures. I have no real tech experience and I was able to do this myself with no issues. I do like that it came with a screen protector too! The battery is a perfect fit and as soon as it was done charging, it powered my phone up like it was new. I was able to go through all of my old photos and videos thanks to this new battery. Not to mention, it came with everything I needed in order to change this battery out too!

This replacement battery worked as a good alternative to replacing an older Switch. The original battery had stopped holding a charge, and swapping it out was much more reasonable than replacing the entire device. Installation was straightforward overall, but one thing to note is that the included screwdrivers did not include the Y00 screwdriver needed to open my 2017 Switch. I ended up buying a separate precision screwdriver set to get the back off. Once I had the correct tool, the battery fit as expected. If you’re planning this replacement, I’d recommend checking your screwdriver set ahead of time so you don’t get stuck mid-install. The photo of the switch in is with this battery freshly installed. Not happy with this battery. I decided to upgrade it since I was replacing the screen anyways. This job requires dexterity and good vision, since everything is built on a micro level. The instructions sent really suck, this company should have found an English speaking person to write out the instructions. I followed the instructions to the best of my interpretation of their directions. How ever after reassembling everything my phone now shuts off after 1or2 minutes and tries to reboot which defeats any reasonable use with it. When checking on the battery status in settings, there is a contradiction of what the main screen shows. I also made every attempt to be sure the ribbon connections were properly placed and secured. And also watched the recommended videos.The battery is obviously working and provides a bright screen but the phone is now useless because of the constant rebooting. I should have left my old battery in place, but after removing it, it became damaged because it was held in place with double sticky tape and difficult to remove. My advice is stick with an original replacement.

It’s a battery. Lower rating than advertised but slightly so it is what it is. No complaints for the price.

Not worth it, I bought 2 of these trying to fix my Nintendo switch. And both batteries had their wiring wrong. I cut the wiring off of one to get it working and had to resodder it. My switch turns on but the battery pack takes forever to get a charge. Used the switch support page to help me to get it working. And I doubt this battery even has 9800mAh. Returning the second one, cuz this company is a joke!, they can't even get the wiring right!
