Edifier GX05 Gaming Earphones with Ultra Low Latency, Hi-Res, LHDC

The media could not be loaded. Probably one of the coolest looking gaming earbuds I’ve ever seen. The case is metal and has good weight to it and it has a soft pouch that they can be placed into. They were way to pair and connected fairly quickly. They can be used either bluetooth or 2.4ghz wifi via the included transmitter that comes conveniently in the charging case. So you get everything you need right in the case. It charges via usb c. So 5 stars on the build quality and craftsmanship.Now the more important side of this review, the sound. The sound is where I personally would say they need a tad bit of tuning adjustments to right right. When in gaming mode the audio gets less bright in the treble and some games need good clean treble in speakers so that we’re able to hear footsteps better. When in music mode the treble raises back up but the mids are reduced so it’s then a v shape tuning.I consider myself an audio enthusiast and own a few earbuds that cost 4-10 times as much as these so I’m picky I suppose. For the average gamer I believe they’ll be happy with them as they’re pretty cool honestly. There isn’t app support just yet I believe but the website says coming soon as well as a firmware update so I believe they’re working on making these better and better soon.

These gaming earbuds were a bit of a surprise. I haven't had much luck with earbuds over the last couple years with them not sounding all that great and lacking one or more key sound elements. These, surprisingly enough, do well in all sound areas. The highs are there but not piercing, the mids are present, and the bass is robust, all while not sounding muddy at higher levels. These could replace everyday earbuds. My only complaint is that they're not the most comfortable. But that's more on my ear shape and may fit you more comfortably. Overall good buy.

Good Bass, great sound, and no noticeable lag when using the Dongle attached to a tablet, phone, or PC.That said? Bluetooth only has SBC, and while it may have LHDC I lack any device that can accept that codec.Eartips were comfortable, no itchiness I may get with some.The "fidget" top of the earbuds case is ... not to my taste. I don't find myself reaching for it to click while pondering a puzzle game.The RGB is there, though I'll admit I tend to turn it off.There is no software or drivers for a Windows PC, so all equalizers and changes have to be done with the windows sound settings.Good mic quality while keeping the great sound quality when using the dongle.

The charging case is metal and put together well. It has LED lights around you where you can change the color and pattern by a button on the bottom. You spin the top to move the blades that cover the earbuds and dongle. It's a USB-C dongle so you can just pop it in that slot on front of your PS5, which is why I bought these.What's cool though is it can connect by both the dongle and Bluetooth so you can be hooked up to your PS5 but also to your phone so you can answer during your play. There is no mute button on the earbuds that I've found or in the instructions, so you would just have to mute on the controller.They are comfortable and have a few different size earbuds to choose from. The sound is nice and very clear, but I wish there was an equalizer to access to fine-tune as I would turn down the highs just a little. The directional sound is good. Using the mic to talk, I did have a friend say I sounded like I was a little bit away from the mic but that's to be expected with an earbud mic when I've been using over-the-ear headsets with a mic right in front of my mouth.Why three stars you ask? Well the battery life sucks. It’s maybe 3 hours tops if you’re lucky.

The earbuds are extremely comfortable, and fit my ears perfectly. The sound produced by the earbuds is excellent. Music, voices, and gaming sounds are all great. I bought these new and was excited to get them. Unfortunately no matter how long I charge it nothing works no light on case or earbuds. I've watched tons of videos and looks like I just had bad luck with these
