Awesome Book for Kids
My 10 yo son loves this book! It teaches him a great deal about the brain and what it does, including the 5 sensory. The illustrations in the book are adorable and hilarious, making it fun to read as well.

Fantastic book!
This is a fantastic book! My daughter will not get it until Christmas but I already read it. My daughter, age 9, suffered significant brain damage at birth that lead to a lot of motor planning deficits and learning disabilities. She knows the story of her birth, what makes her different, and how occupational therapy and speech therapy is helping her. I taught her the basics of how our brains work and where her brain damage is. This book goes into a lot more detail in a wonderful comic book style with a humorous plot perfect for teaching the nervous system without being strictly informational. I can not wait to read it with her!

Science Comics! Fun and Educational! And Macabre!
It's a bit macabre, but the perfect plot for learning about the human brain can be no better! Looking for something spooky for the Halloween season? This book is fit for anyone old enough to read, isn't grossed out by thinking about their own brain, and can tolerate episodes of WordGirl . Don't hesitate, pick up Science Comics today! Check your local bookseller, and ask about the other books in this series, great, great stuff!

A fun book that is very educational
My son is 8 and he loves these books. They are super educational and this one is about the brain and brain function but they are cartoons and tell the info in a way that kids find interesting. My son started telling me how eyes and ears work and how they connect to the brain to process the information. Super cool! He's doing a book report on this one. He also loved the one on Plagues.... who knew? !?

Written from evolutionary standpoint, but still deep with information.
A creative story thay I incorporates how the brain works and its anatomy. It is written from an evolutionary standpoint so keep that in mind. However, the facts about the brain are in depth, and the illustrations are great.
