Mamba XLX2 Extreme 1/6, 1/7, 1/5 Scale ESC

The absolute pinnacle of high performance RC parts. This ESC is a must have for anyone doing speed runs or who has a build that demands massive amounts of power. As you would expect from Castle, this thing is loaded with options and settings. The data that it gives you access to, is invaluable for understanding what's going on with your setup. This ESC is an absolute game changer. It really is a little expensive, but in this game, you get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor, bite the bullet and just shell out the cash for this thing. You will not be disappointed. It's worth every penny

Doesn’t like 8S in an xmaxx even with conservative gearing. Claims there is an excessive load and almost blew brand new SMC batteries before the esc stopped outputting power to motor and burnt up a QS8 connector. It also changed LVC voltage from 3.2v, and let the batteries run down to 22 volts. Then changed again to 39v. Castle techs swore it doesn’t just change cutoff voltage all by itself, but here we are. It’s like it wants to destroy my truck and does everything it can to do so. Now I have to send this pile in to castle to hopefully get a warranty so I can sell off the replacements. Hobbywing does it better, MMX8s does it better, only use this if you’re doing a few speed run passes as that’s about all it’s good for. Keep it out of bashers or expensive builds that you don’t want to turn into a smoldering heap of plastic. Check out Kevin Talbots’s videos on the XLX2, you can blow a brand new unit on demand just by holding full throttle. Yet castle wants to blame everything from my soldering to my settings to my driving style and beyond. Pretty sweet for $250!

It is a awesome esc very powerful and can achieve a high speed or bashing which ever you prefer 100% recommend

Can’t beat the XLX2 unless you get the newest from PP and ghost.
