i was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia and developed severe GERD and LPR. I read about gaviscon advance on a reddit forum. Figured i try it since my LPR and acid reflux were horrible at night. This stuff is AMAZING. i have felt a little to no LPR or reflux since starting this. Remember This does NOT get rid of LPR or acid reflux. It creates a raft over your LES to keep it down. The peppermint taste isn't all that bad. You get used to it. It is a bit pricey but for the amount of discomfort i have i don't care!

This is so much better than the Gaviston over the counter we sell in the states. It is thicker and really helps control the acid reflex. I notice it is not readily available on Amazon now.

Arrived on time and was as advertised. I prefer the anise flavor, but ordered the peppermint to save a couple of bucks. The cost of this item has risen sharply over the last few years.

Best product I have found for acid reflux

I have several times purchased the anise seed flavor version. I'm not going to pretend it tastes great or is fun to use, but nobody is buying this stuff as a snack or treat, right? But this peppermint flavor version is really hard to stomach (pun intended) or even swallow. The anise seed version is rough to get down, but it's waaaaay better / easier than this one. Yuck.

This is the only product that helps my severe reflux. Prescription drugs aren't working for me anymore and this version of Gaviscon is the only reason I get any sleep at all. My gastroenterologist enterologist approves of this version because it doesn't have aluminum. Delivery was faster than estimated.

This really helps if you have LPR. I take it just before bed.
