What temperatures are required to cure the paint multiple times at various temperatures in an oven? Will the final coating survive any contact with food?

24 hours AFTER painted - place in oven one hour @ 175 degrees. A second curing a few hours later is sometimes helpful.Any contact with food in either direction is bad. (part to food / food to part)Make sure wife is out of town.Cook 2 or 3 pizzas one after another to help disguise smell.

Paint scratches off very easily 2 days later, even after curing at 200 and 400 degrees. Prepped with degreaser and 150 grit sandpaper. What could I have done wrong?

You did not mention that if you used any primer…most paint requires that you prime the metal surface….and I would bet this high temp paint is no different and probably needs a high temp primer….I have yet to read the instructions but I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it should be primed.

Can I use this paint to spray the outside of a wood burning stove

I sprayed the outside of exhaust pipe on car, no issues whatsoever, and obviously exhaust pipe gets quite hot. I cannot confirm that the spray would withstand the heat from a wood burning stove, but I believe it should be able to.

Can you use this on a wood burning fireplace firebox?

Yes especially if it is an alloy box but if the box is made of wood you might want to seal and prime it with the high temperature primer first and make sure that there are no cracks before you go over it with the rust oleum high temp paint, for best results!
